Having tried loco moco on the Big Island and at a few places in Maui on a recent July 4th visit, this is by far the best place to get ya some!! Staff was super friendly too. Thank you!
BBQ chicken was comparable to huli Huli chicken on road to Hana. Happy friendly staff. Would go here again!
Big juicy burger that looks very good. The problem lies in flavor or lack there of. Fries were golden brown . If you don’t need flavor than this burger is for you.
Sparky's food truck in Home depot have the best bacon and Beef Hamburger ? ever!Just so delicious ?
the bbq chicken was fantastic and the pineapple sausage was decent but you could tell the corn came straight from a can. i have my doubts about the origin of their sausage as well—it’s like they bought it at costco and stuffed pineapple into it. the bbq teri beef was over cooked and way too sweetlarge portions but spent 30 on food that was probably worth less than 20
We went to Sparky’s food truck in Lahaina today so I could try their Loco Moco plate. It was the best Loco Moco I’ve had in years. I have tried Loco Moco all over the island and this was the best I’ve ever had.We will definitely eat here more often.
This place was pretty good. The Kalua pork was tasty but lacked the distinct smokiness and saltiness I have found elsewhere. That being said the chicken and rice soup they give as a side is super flavorful and the pastele stew fries were bomb. The stew had an earthy vibe, the meat literally fell apart and paired well with the thick cut crinkle fries.
I ate at the location across from Costco, order the BBQ chicken platter. Although I had to wait 25 minutes for them to grill the chicken, it was worth it because it was so good. It is definitely worth the wait.
Staff are very friendly and were kind enough to let me know it would be a little bit of wait for the chicken….it was WELL worth the wait!!! The chicken was fresh and extremely tender. The pineapple sausage was the best Iv had in years, so juicy and cooked perfectly. Their noodle salad was very unique and a nice change from the normal “Mac salad” served with most plate lunches. Easily my top food truck while visiting Maui. Mahalo Sparky’s!!
Visiting Maui and stopped to try this place. I loved every bite. The kimchi was on point as well as the noodle salad and hurricane mochiko. If this place was at home I would be a regular!! Thanks for the awesome food!!
