Stopped by Ramen Ya with my friend for lunch before heading to the airport and was really impressed! We shared a combo: ramen, gyoza and chicken katsu curry. The ramen and gyoza were pretty average but the chicken katsu curry was definitely the stand-out! The chicken was crispy and there was lots of curry to go with the rice. The combo portion size was HUGE and really affordable, and we left the restaurant happy and full.

For Father's Day dinner, we decided on this small local restaurant in the Queen Kaahumanu Center. It was a good thing we got there before 6:00 because shortly after we sat down the place started filling up with people. Our server was there to take our order pretty quickly and our food was on the table relatively fast. The ramen was good, as was the kim chee, and the mochiko chicken. My only complaint was we never got the check, but instead were told to just go up to the register where our server went down the ticket order and put it in the register and we never saw what was on it. While the total seemed correct, it would have been nice to see for ourselves. No receipt was offered either. Overall, it was a nice meal but we will probably try somewhere else next time.

First time in Hawaii, visited Queen Ka’ahumanu mall and decided to have lunch at Ramen Ya. Place is tiny with about 7 tables, the ramen are tad bland. However, they have soy sauce to adjust to your tasting. Overall the food was good and affordable with the island outrageous prices.

Pork glowing with preservatives and far too salty. Store bought noodles are a much better value. Unfortunate to see a business named for ramen serve this inferior product. Excessive portion size does not make up for low quality food.

nice place to order small dish ,i order ramen, and dumpling, curry rice, everything was enjoyed very much

The food is good, but when I've tried placing reservations, they always tell me they are for walk-ins, no reservations. Fair enough, today I went to see if I could put a reservation, but they told me they weren't even sitting people cause they were so backtracked with people I walked off and came back minutes later with online orders. A large party walked in that came after I did. I don't get this but not my business. I guess just doesn't seem fair at all to say one thing then completely say another to a customer

Went for a late luch and it was pleasantly surprised, great experience. The tonkotsu ramen is fantastic. Chicken katsu is also good. Foods came out fast. Pricing of the combo is ridiculously affordable and portion is huge, well worth the money. We were full and had couple to-go boxes to finish at home. Definitely recommended

Super great experience! Went here for a quick dinner, and there was a short wait (not too bad). Ordered the Black Garlic Ramen and Spicy Seafood Ramen and the combo ramen + gyoza + rice. Big portions, enough to feed 4-5 people comfortably. Food came very quickly and staff were nice. Overall very happy!

Their Gyoza is the best I've ever seen. The vegetable is very fresh. They are also very serious to COVID. The reason to give 4-star is the service people use one hand when bringing my bowl, which inevitably touch rim of the bowl. They should use two hands so only the bottom part of bowl is touched

This is a really American Raman restaurant, never try it if you want some authentic Japanese food.
