While vacationing in Maui 5 years ago, we were driving around and saw the sign,"Cuban Coffee" on the side of the Hwy. I quickly made a U turn and stop for a Cortadito, this was one of the highlights of my vacation. I'm planning on visiting Maui again this year and looking forward for another "Maui Cortadito"

I stopped by one two occasions.... once to get a large cortadito and beef empanada and the second time to get a small cortadito. The beef empanada was very tasty. It makes for a satisfying snack. Alba’s cortaditos and other coffee drinks can be made without sugar. I had my cortaditos made with sugar and they were worth the drive from Lahaina. I suggest calling before you go to make sure they are open.

I'm a Cuban girl from Miami and I'm always skeptical when my friends send me to check out Cuban food finds. Well this place rocks!!! A small food truck full of Cuban goodness and hospitality!! I'm so glad I stopped by. Colada (cuban espresso with a splash of milk & sugar) was just like home. Pastelitos (Cuban pastries) were fabulous. My favorite Guava & Cream cheese, but the Cream cheese pastry was absolutely delicious too!! A must if you're hanging out in Maui!! Close to Haleakala, Makawao and on the way to Kula... no excuses. This Miami Cuban LOVED it!! An added twist, not in Miami, any Cuban coffee ICED...sooo good!! Come visit and support the locals!!
