Enjoyed the food though it's more of a homey style restaurant. I had breakfast which was satisfying and finished it off with this rainbow cake which was delish!

The staff is terrific. Such friendly service..they great me by name and my order is always great. They even take care of my special requests no problem...they got it..my favorite Zippy's...please take care of your weekend night shift. They are really special...they work so hard and makes sure the customers leave happy..
At sometimes you would have one person trying to get the take out orders and drive-thru all at once and getting backed up on all the orders. Other than that. GOOD FOOD.
Had to have Zippys Chili and Apple Napples while visiting Hawaii.
This is a fast food chain that moves a little slow. You may have to wait a while for your meal to be handed to you for takeout only, but the wait is worth it. The quality of the food in this chain that is native only to Hawaii is noteworthy and refreshing. Just the fact that they are open relatively late and don't grill you to check your vac status before you can even order there are enough for me to award them the full register of stars. Freshly cooked and delicious food, reasonable prices, and a nice variety of island comfort foods is icing on the cake.
Arrived at 11:00 am. Hostess doesn't check the wait list. It's lunch hour & only 2 servers. Hostess only mentions this after we are seated. Oxtail soup came lukewarm. But my husband's loved his hamburger curry. I know Covid has changed the restaurant business. We try to support restaurants but I feel that lately the Customer always ends up getting the brunt of it. I.e. Slow service. Poor quality. I hope you are able to staff your restaurant adequately & that this is not the norm. It will be sometime before we return. Good luck.
First time trying this place out since I haven’t been in the area and my brother said it’s good. Can confirm. I had the Chicken Trio which came with Fried Chicken, Chicken Katsu, & Korean Fried Chicken. Mostly wanted to try the last two and man are they good, they give you some BBQ sauce but the chicken doesn’t even need it. Crispy outside with a tender inside. I will most likely come back again before returning home!
Went w/family for a quick Christmas bite. Only Turkey or ham dinner available...no other daily specials, no tuna or egg sandwiches, no sundaes, no desserts, basically a wash. I know we're in a pandemic but I doubt that was the problem. Zippys has really gone downhill slowly, even before the pandemic. No longer a suitable alternative to dining in unless you don't mind scrounging for the menu for something fulfilling.
Employees have quite a bit of attitude and the mgmt doesn't do anything about it. Last 8 times in a row, we were greeted with such horrible attitude that we now boycott the vineyard location. Very disgusting to be treated that way especially when our orders always comes out to above $50 each visit. Not worth the amount that we spend there. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS MANAGEMENT, YOU LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER!
