Great spot if you want standard fast food fare with an island twist! There's lots to choose from here, and there's even a connected bakery called Napoleon's. This location in particular feels safer than most others.
About 3 years ago I gave a 5 star rating because I thought they had the best corn beef hash. In fact I had the same breakfast 5 days in a row. Now the Corn beef hash was mushy and way below par must have changed the recipe. The only great thing was the service therefore a 3 star and not 5
Clean and air conditioning is awesome for this hot weather. 3 stars for the parking and cleanliness of the restaurant. We ordered hamburger curry, hamburger steak and what suppose to be a teri burger steak plate but instead got a burger. Just a plain burger on a bun. I didn't want to make it a big deal and go back to make a complaint with the wrong order. I'm just hoping we ate at this location on a wrong day and that this is not their everyday thing. ? The food itself was a little disappointing. Zippys is known to be the best all around representing Hawaii itself for its bomb food but this day wasnt the day. I will try this location again another day and see if service and good is still the same.
Couldn't wait to get my favorite dish that I felt Zippy's made the Best, I just came back home from the mainland, I moved away 5 yrs ago. I ordered Mushroom Omelet w/cheese, only to find out that it was taken off of the Menu. I was so.... disappointed, the cashier said it was because of Covid.. ? okay? So, I had Chicken Katsu... which was very Ono & my Husband had the Teriyaki Steak, very good as well, but I still craved the Garlicky Mushroom Omelet. Several days later, I had the Chilli & Burrito w/piece of Chicken Mac Salad, which was Ono too, my Husband had Chicken Katsu.
Good Zippy's service, as expected. My only issue with this location is the ambient. The modern lighting is too white for me. It almost feels like a doctor's waiting room. I wish the lighting was more warm light. But the food is as expected.
It literally took 20 minutes before being acknowledged. We were the 1st at the podium...That was my only gripe, service from the young lady was fantastic, great customer service..5 stars for her.I had breakfast the other 9 people had reg. meals.As we were leaving people that was there after us, was still waiting to be seated. WOW ..It wasn't that busy..Lastly, The food is not all that great like before.We do order the barrel chili (not from this location) for get together at least 3 to 4 times a month.The competition is getting better, hope Zippys improve their cooks, menus etc....Oops one more thing...Bakery items are so limited in the Waipio Gentry, Hawaii locationthank you

Food - The food was pretty good. I had the fried chicken (mini) plate with rice and mac salad. Other party members enjoyed their meal as well with no complaints.Service - The staff was friendly and attentive. The fried chicken took a while to come out but they always kept us informed for how long was left. Plus I don't mind it being fresh, so no complaints for waiting a little longer.Ambiance - Typical fast casual, good covid protection between seats, but the look is a little dated I must say.

Perfect stop on our way from the airport to Waikiki for a quick lunch. Restaurant was clean and nice looks like they may have remodeled recently or in the past year or so. Server was awesome.
