My first time at Zippy's. The server wasn't kind and the food was soso. But they had a great view.
This location has the best views if you have window seating. Fairly large dining area. Standard Zippy's menu and food quality which is usually consistent.
We had an enjoyable lunch by the bay & some good conversation. All in all a great lunch with an old friend. The service was good. My friend had the Curry Special & I had a bowl of chili w/ onion & cheese, a side salad,and grilled cornbread & jam. Water w/ lemon to drink. A great lunch!!!????
Tuesday evening at 4:30 had no crowd and we were seated immediately. I had the chicken trio with all fried chicken. It was OK for standard home comfort cooking but this is not normally my favorite. The chicken was a bit dry but tasted fine. I enjoy the Zippys breakfast menu more.

Our first visit 2.5 years later since they reopened.I don’t like powder creamer and I have to give 3 stars because they ran out of Creamer (half n half) at 1pm …!?Our server was an old timer whom I recognized … I often wished she was kinder and more Aloha!!
There is no takeout window at all. The worst one in Hawaii . Delivery guy has to wait in line. Call the delivery man from far away to pick up the meal. He can't take it out in 30 minutes. Are you kidding? You really need to pay attention to taking meals in the future
The service good and they were fast, but we were the only customers. The food was good, but it's been better there.
