Visiting from FL we found YoguStory to feature a unique menu with delicious flavors in every bite! The Taro tea, Ube Waffles or Pancakes and Portuguese sausage were some of our favorites. We came here twice during our week-long trip. Arrived around 8 am both times and did not have any issues getting a table. Wait staff stays busy but get what you need quickly. Going to miss this yummy restaurant after returning stateside.
Fantastic brunch with beautiful presentation, large portions, and a refined palate. Menu includes American breakfast favorites like hash browns, waffles, and omelets as well as Asian fusions like Taro and Pork Belly. Highly recommend the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict.
It's okay, I had to request another waiter to get my water cups. My waffle tasted a bit dry but it was still pretty good. Prime rib loco Moco was tasty and the kalbi was too.
A 30-40 minute waitlist which you do using Yelp. The food was fun with lots of color. We chose the ube pancakes, the kimchee fried rice loco moco, the strawberry shortcake pancakes, and the crab cake eggs Benedict. All were tasty, but the Benedict needed way mote hollandaise sauce and the green tea latte was too sweet. The taro latte was delicious though. Service was friendly and the tables were far apart.
We found YogurtStory online, and chose it to celebrate my daughter’s 10 birthday! Completely regret it as our experience was the worst! - We waited over 2 hours for a table. -This place has outdated photos of the place. Don’t believe the place is fancy or nice. Is in a ran-down plaza with ridiculous parking. -The food is subpar, and not like in the pictures! I ordered avocado eggs Benedict. Avocado was old and browned, salad was wilted and soggy, hash browns undercooked in the center. Taro latte had no cute design like in pictures, and one of the mugs had lipstick from previous user. Disgusting!!! Should’ve walked out as soon as we saw the lipstick on the mug… But we waited so long and were hungry. Our mistake! The manager has no customer service skills. She looked visibly annoyed and upset that we were no happy with our food, she made my daughter a new new drink because her mug had lipstick and also removed my meal from the bill. My friend ordered Ube pancakes since they’re so hyped up about in the reviews and they tasted so much like coconut it was not what she ordered. The manager just told her sorry you didn’t like them but she can’t do anything about it. She proceded to scream at my friend that she couldn’t take the ube pancakes from her bill and that she had to pay for them even thought she did not eat them in front of everyone there. The place was packed. -there were several items in our check that were over charged from their menu prices. I can’t imagine how many people were overcharged and didn’t even notice that. Very bad business practices. I’m not sure if the wonderful reviews were from before the restaurant was located somewhere different and the service was better. I do not understand anyone experiencing this type of service leaving wonderful reviews. Thank you for ruining a special day!
This is the best place I at at in all of my life for breakfast. First of all wake up early to beat the crowds. Sunrise in Hawaii is 5 am so if you wake up early you can eat breakfast and head to a beach lol Which is challenging to find parking. At 7:45 am we beat the crowds. It was worth it !!! Their food is amazing. Get the egg Benedict with the crab cake. The Ube pankcakes were phenomenal. The parking area is small so keep that in mind if you have a mini van. My husband had to climb through the back to get back in our car to get out of the tight spaces. It’s like that everywhere in the island
This is the best brunch spot I have ever been to in my 26 years of existence. Yes, you will wait maybe 45 min to an hour but only because everyone wants a taste of perfection. I always thought people exaggerated when they talked about the ube pancakes but they live up to the hype. Buy the prime rib loco moco as well. You will not be disappointed.
Came here on an early Sunday morning with a group of friends and I was shocked at how many people were already sitting down and eating. So big tip, come early if you don't like to wait, because by the time we were leaving, a lot of people were standing outside to get seated. What originally drew me to YogurStory were the ube pancakes and the strawberry shortcake pancakes. We ordered both pancakes along with a classic loco moco. I loved the pancakes!! The pictures will look like they are drencheddd in the sauce, but it was actually a perfect amount. They were not insanely sweet either, which is my preference. The pancakes also had a stretchy texture as well, almost like mochi. As for the loco moco, there was something off with it, not exactly sure what it was, but it didn't taste the same as other loco mocos we have tried. It's not that it tasted bad though; just preferred other spots.Overall, YogurStory is a decent breakfast/brunch spot. I would recommend atleast trying it once.
Be prepared for an incredibly long wait but it's absolutely worth it! You can make it a little less painful by joining their wait list on Yelp and come to the restaurant when it tells you to. We went in a Sunday - we joined the wait list at around 9:30 am and it told us to come to the restaurant at 11:15 am. We were seated shortly after 12 pm for a party of 3. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a taro latte which was a good non-coffee option. We ordered the prime rib loco moco and ube pancakes. Both items were excellent and I loved the ube pancakes. They were very soft and tender and the sauce on top was amazing. I ate about half the stack and was able to take the leftovert home with extra sauce (definitely ask for extra sauce)! There is a small parking lot at the restaurant and it has a bathroom too. It's all indoor seating as well. This is a great brunch stop!
Came here bc Eggs n Things turned us away literally 60 seconds past 1:30pm….and SO GLAD we did!!! 5 star “Aloha French Toast” and “Classic Eggs Benedict”, 4 star pancakes and service. We will be back!!
