A great long time hamburger joint that is the best on the island. My dad has been coming to this place for a long time. The parking is small but if you come early. It is worth it.
Amazing burger! HAL burger is an absolute must get. Really loved the combo of the ground beef with the steak strips on it. Light teriyaki flavor and every bite had a little bit of every flavor.They’re Mac salad was not my personal cup of tea, the choice of adding green peas to a crab Mac salad is not something I would do. But I can’t knock a star off for just one item that I personally didn’t care for.Try it yourself, but definitely get a nice juicy burger. You won’t be disappointed.
I don’t understand the hype. It’s an ok burger? Slightly sweet. Very small with small fries. The fries do remind me of McDs, but without the crack salt (just regular salt and real potatoes in this one!)Calling ahead and picking up with quick on a mid day week day. There were cars waiting.All in all, nothing wrong with the burger, it tasted normal, and glad I tried it but with all the options available on the island - will probably try something else.
Lots of good memories eating these burgers. I was able to bring my 2 boys here today. They are just as delicious as I remember. Parking is a little rough though
The aroma is wonderful and we were looking forward to trying the burgers. The taste didn’t match the smell. We ordered the burger with an extra patty, although the patties were dry. Maybe the burger patties are frozen when put on the grill, just didn’t taste like much.(The window displays “Hawaii’s Best” for several years, I am not sure what the evaluators ordered).
My first time trying this place after years of going St. LOUIS drive in across the street. I must say they have straight up a great size burger patty that has enormous flavor and some great combos from double burgers to a Teri meat Burger that was my favorite. This is must try while in hawaii.
My hubby went today...i loved the deluxe burger nd fries...but my hubby didn't care for it...i guess he doesn't know what ono burgers are lol.. but i so love w&m grew up eating here since small kid time...prices are higher but still worth the price...its all in taste nd preference...keep up da awesome ono burgers w&m
Deluxe hamburger is delicious, BBQ steak burger was good too, fast service!
Haven't been here in years. Burger was good and was similar to the old days. Fries were average. Nothing like before with the twice fried ones. It's just and average value today.
