Great place to get your shave ice on. Plenty of great flavors, ice cream topping was a great vanilla bean ice cream. Service was pretty fast too, and the people there we very friendly. I had the watermelon with strawberry with the ice cream topping. Very reasonably priced compared to all the shave ice places on the island.
Didn't get to see uncle clay unfortunately but the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great shave ice, tasted light and fresh and wasn't too sugary. I'd have to say it's the second best shave ice on the island.
Loved the shaved ice here. We ordered the signature item Classic Rainbow and Coconut and condensed milk. They were very tasty and refreshing.
These were delicious Shave ice and the addition of the fresh fruit made it taste even better. Only bummer was we had to eat in our hot car because they had the seating inside shut down. Staff was super friendly and fast.
I really wanted to like this place but I was very disappointed with my shave ice. I got the strawberry dream and then ice was lacking in flavor. Once I ate the outer most layer of ice, it just tasted like ice. I ate the toppings (ice cream, mochi, and strawberries) and tossed the rest. My dining companions got the classic rainbow and tropical dream and we're really happy with theirs so I think I had bad luck and didn't get enough syrup. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking and outdoor seating with a bathroom. So the location is a very convenient stop but I would not recommend the shave ice based on what I had.
We tried a lot of shave ice during our time at Oahu and Uncle Clay's was by far our favorite. Other shave ice companies use flavoring that are all artificial - and you can taste it. Uncle Clay's flavors were SO much fresher and tastier. The fresh fruit toppings were excellent, as were the unique flavors, like horchata. Highly recommend Uncle Clay's, even if you have to make a special drive just to get here. Service was very friendly too. Be aware their hours right now are limited - open from 2-6. We just made it at 5:45pm before they closed (which seemed very early to me). Enjoy!!
One of the many places we went to for shaved iced while I'm Oahu and this was up there in terms of deliciousness. We got the regular sized shaved iced bowl and it was plenty to share between two people however I could have easily eaten a bowl by myself. There were many toppings to choose from. Protip: make sure to add a scoop of ice cream to it!There is no indoor dining or outdoor seating at the moment however we did find a little area a couple stores down with plenty of seating. There's also plenty of parking as it is located in a fairly big shopping plaza.
We tried a number of shave ice locations on multiple islands before coming to Uncle Clay's. We knew this was a "must" after seeing him featured on Dining on a Dime. What sets this place apart from other shave ice vendors is the syrup. You can really taste the difference with the natural flavours, rather than the typical high fructose corn syrup. The tahitian vanilla ice cream on top was also unreal.
Great shave ice and great experience, uncle Clays makes great shave ice and def has the pure aloha spirit. Proud to have AY Inspirations collaborate w them and share our jewelry and aloha spirit
My brother and his kids went here literally 4 times during his vacation.My family had some trouble trying to get some shaved ice just because the open hours seemed to be different from what's posted on yelp. We came once and they were already closed at 6 and another time we came at 12:30pm and they weren't open yet.Finally, we were able to catch some shaved ice. We actually went here twice. The kids love it.It was flavorful.
