Obsessed with the mini cheesecake ubae tarts!! The consistency is creamy and so delicious and I’m so glad we stopped at this food truck that was located in downtown Waikiki during our trip. I gave it 4 stars for the price which I think is crazy high for tiny tarts but it’s also expected for Oahu. That said, it is still a must try this unique dessert while in Hawaii ?
I had high hopes for this place. Most of their products dont even taste like ube and everything is super expensive. 4 mini tarts will cost you $7.15! Are you kidding me? Customer service is just ok and they dont even advertise their prices inside their store. What kind of establishment does that?
We'd already gotten donuts next door but had to check this shop out since we love ube. We only got one thing but the ube pandan ice cream was so good! I'm not typically a big ice cream fan though I do love soft serve and this one was super creamy and flavorful. Since we were pretty full from lunch, one was enough for two of us to share but this will definitely be a place we go back to.
I buy their sweets for personal pleasure and also for friends to watch them dive into the pleasure. LolMy favorite is roll cake. Outer sponge is very fluffy and coconuts gives texture. Friends love the cheese cake. We bought a whole cake for a dinner for 4. We couldn’t have enough.
This place is REALLY far away from where all the basic tourists like me go to, but wow is it worth the trek! Bought the ube cheesecake and ube cheesecake tarts but honestly feel like I didn't get enough. The tarts have a nice crunchy butter shell with a creamy kind of thick filling. The cheesecake bowls is much lighter and softer, but both however are absolutely delicious!
Ube cheesecake is soooo good!! Try the soft serve too. That was also good.
