Finally stopped in for a quick bite and no line, although nice crowd. Quick, painless, friendly service. Growing up in Hawaii, you got the melting pot of ethnic foods, especially, Chinese, and we all have our neighborhood favorites. Being a Michelin winner, you just have to try it, right? I really liked the staff and service. The food was really good and you try to taste that secret ingredient that makes it what it is. I admit, it all tasted great, especially the eggplant, which was different. Preparation seemed fresh which was probably the differentiator. No dim sum cart here. It wasn't overwhelming, but not commonplace either. Very tasty, very "fresh". Give it a try. I'll be back to try more of a very simple, but diverse menu. ?✌️

Great awesome wonderful outstanding

I finally visited as this was one of the places I have been wanting to try for dim sum. It’s usually pretty busy but when I visited the wait was very short for one person. Their menu was smaller than I expected but still decent with variety of types of food. I tried their steamed rice roll with pork as well as their spicy dumplings. Food was prepared fresh and it came up pretty fast. Post dishes were pretty decent. Pork had a little smell to it but it was overall fine but I would like to try minced beef next visit. Pricing is decent for what you get. Service was mediocre but I would return again someday.

Absolutely delicious food in the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Center shopping center.I love Chang fen and the shrimp here was fresh, the spicy dumplings were also perfectly seasoned.the milk tea was also super legit, just the right amount of sugar and milk - with a nice grass jelly.I have not been to the one in NY but imagine this one has a shorter line.

TL;DR: Average dim sum. Get the Lava Custard Sesame Ball! Sit indoors if windy. Helpful food allergen menu.Located inside the shopping mall on level 3.Parking: resort/hotel garages or lots outside the shopping strip only. Minimal street parking if any. If you have a stroller, you can park it near the entrance by the register.Atmosphere: typical restaurant feel. We dined outdoors, was a bit windy and we had to hold on to our napkins. I recommend dining indoors if it's windy out.Menu: lists item names with images and minimal or no description. It is vegan friendly and has a very helpful allergen menu upon request. Expect to order several dishes to fill your belly.Service: wait to be seated, you will be given an order slip to fill out, check brought to you and you will be watered.Lava Custard Sesame Ball: who wouldn't love a deep fried mochi ball rolled in sesame seeds and filled with a slightly salted but sweet egg custard filling?! Be careful though, they don't call it "lava" for nothing -- it is really hot!Baked BBQ Pork Buns: a bit on the sweet sidePan Fried Turnip Cake: surprisingly savory! Not too salty but still has a nice gooey texture with a slight pan-fried crisp.Steamed Beef Balls with Bean Curd Skin: tasted ok but I probably wouldn't order it again. The flavor was fine but it was a bit soggy for me.Steamed Rice with Chicken: tender chicken and lightly flavored. Perfect for a palate cleanser in between dim sum plates.Steamed Rice Roll with Minced Beef: I personally always go for this dish at dim sum restaurants. I love the texture of the noodle roll and the meat filling is tasty.Rainbow Mango Slush: realllllllly sweet. The cream on the top is a nice touch but man this drink is pure sugar -- maybe it's just me but I would have preferred some tang and less sugar.Overall, average dim sum to satiate your tastebuds if you are really craving some but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here on a regular basis. Nothing really wowed me except for the Lava Custard Buns.

High prices, but they do offer a kamaaina discount. Authentic dim sum. I was a little worried when I saw the dark soy sauce, but everything was perfect and delicious. I had the sticky rice in lotus leaf, chicken feet, and spicy wonton. Service was friendly and helpful. Plus, it's almost impossible to find dim sum for dinner. I would definitely go again.

Good food great price for the area its located

The pork buns are one of the best food items worldwide. Same quality as in the Hong Kong establishment. The other dim sum are fine, but a little expensive. You won't ever be disappointed by the pork buns though!

Excellent service. Mediocre dim sum for resort prices. The menu is quite short for a dim sum place. Not a whole lot of varieties. Drive ten more minutes from this spot you'll find yourself surrounded by restaurants that are better than this one. More varieties for less the price.

The congee is legit.
