Cozy bar with a section out on the rooftop. The ambiance was nice, not too loud at all, so recommended for those looking for a quieter place to start or end the evening. The drinks were great as well. The bartenders will do their best to craft either cocktail classics or originals based on the flavor profile you're looking for.
Bar with a cute rooftop area. Went for drinks to kill time until our next reservation nearby. I really wanted to like this place as I heard good things, but the music choice was so off and didn’t match the cute atmosphere nor the audience. It felt like I was at a frat party. Loud, bad party remixes for hours. In addition to that, the sangria that I ordered ended up being a unique one with a strong peanut butter flavor. The waitress was nice enough to ask if I like it or not since it’s so different from what people expect from normal sangria. She made it sound like she can get me a different drink for free if I didn’t like it. I took her offer and got something else, but later realized I was charged for both of the drinks ?
Very cool bar with an awesome rooftop! The drinks are good too! Highly recommend it, esp if you’re looking for a quieter bar in china town
I went here a long time ago and always wanted to return. Awesome place, best wine bar in Honolulu.
I wish I was there right now. Maybe I’ll take a biki there now..
Walked in last night and there was a 45 minute wait, which was understandable given it being a Saturday night. We patiently waited for our table and arrived back up the stairs when notified that our table was ready. As we ascended the stairs, a group of 3 in front of us walked over to our table since no one was at the front. The manager, Kelsey, thought they were in our party to which we said no and let her handle the unfortunate situation. I did not see her approach the table but she did come back saying, “they were aggressive when I told them to leave so let’s have you guys wait for another table to get up and leave.” We stood there awkwardly for an additional 10 minutes as she handed us menus right at the entrance of the bar to appease us.Finally got a table (comically next to the party of 3 that sat at our original table). We voiced our dissatisfaction to both the manager and the three men who selfishly took our table. The men were confused as they were never asked to leave, and weren’t even informed that they had taken an entire party’s table. They even offered to give up the table due to their mistake. At this moment, Kelsey, trying to save face, ran up to us and immediately and told us to leave as we were not going to be helped due to the incident caused by none but herself.Funny, as it was easy for her to kick us out, but was not able to with the gentlemen that took our table we patiently waited 45 minutes for. Thanks for this comical and memorable situation. Truly pathetic customer service.
We sat at the bar for a quick drink. We were greeted with a mumbled "vaccination and id" to which I couldn't make out so I asked "what was that?" The bartender repeated in an inconvenienced tone "vaccination card and id". First point of contact = not good. Tip #1- your customers are not your inconvenience. The only reason you have a job is because of your patrons. After this exchange we sat at the bar. 6 minutes later and still no service. There was one other couple sitting at the otherwise empty bar. So it wasn't that she was "too busy". What could it be? She had a few seconds to spare to take our order (I was watching her). A couple minutes later her bar back finally takes out order. Tip #2: a customer should always be greeted within the first couple of minutes of sitting down. And in no situation should you prioritize wiping down your bar over greeting your patrons. We drank our drinks and then asked the bar back for our tab. Upon signing only then did he try to make conversation. Tip #3- when you ignore your patrons during their stay and only attempt small talk after dropping their tab you're sending the message that you are more excited to see your patrons leave than stay. So, make small talk during their drinks. This shows you're interested and thankful for their patronage. Their bar staff needs training on customer service and an attitude check. This is not "their" bar, it is the owners bar and I know the owners would expect more of their employees. You customers may have 20 years of bartending experience at local bars, dive bars, luxury hotel bars and high end restaurant bars... treat everyone like you're thankful for their business.

Great vibe, interesting drinks, and a fun indoor/outdoor space. Some of our favorite drinks on the island!
Very cute bar but totally hipster and feels out of place in Chinatown. It is a bit expensive but the food was great. Be choosy about your drink, the well vodka is really harsh quality. I enjoyed the tchin royal a lot!
