The place is in Chinatown area. The place was pretty busy, we were seated at the bar. Food is expensive but the size is also big. Good but it’s more to salty size to me. Coffee was good.. the server said it was mixed of two coffees.. Cafe Du Monde & Vanilla Macadamia Nut Coffee…

This place was amazing! A perfect spot for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The Bahn mi was refreshingly delicious with the added noodles. My mom loved the cauliflower curry dispite it being spicy. They came by later with a dissert menu and wow was it delicious. We had the CHE PANNA Cotta (spicy Lilikoi). Blew our minds!I highly recommend eating here. But reservations are definitely the way to go. Cause the place filled up real quick.

Oh Pig! Oh Lady! We had such high hopes for a memorable dinner, and you let us down hard. We waited 45 minutes for our apps to arrive, as other tables seated well after us got their apps AND entrees while we sat there. Once they arrived, with no apology, there was another 30 minute wait for the mains. To add to the comedy of errors, one entree was served 10 minutes before the other one, so I sat there watching my partner eat. Mind you, this is one of the top-rated restaurants in Honolulu, and one of the most difficult reservations to secure, so we were dumbfounded by the inept service. The food, once it arrived, offered various riffs on “Viet” fusion dishes, none balanced or nuanced. The main flavor note in every dish was fish sauce. My palate might have been more forgiving had it gotten some use earlier in the evening, but the whole experience was a disappointment.

Honestly, really wanted to love this Pho from all the great reviews but it was not what I was expecting. Very small portions for the price (expect to pay about $20USD per bowl) and flavours were odd, definitely not typical Vietnamese if that is what you are expecting. The noodles were thick and gummy, not a lot of broth and I ended up getting a pretty bad stomach ache after eating this soup. My flavour palette may be different than others so bear in mind this was just my experience. I will say the Vietnamese style bread was good!

By far the fanciest Vietnamese restaurant I have ever tried, but I have no regrets. You definitely want to make reservations way ahead of time since they are so popular.Service was a 10/10. Our waiter knew what he was doing and was so informative of everything on the menu AND off the menu. Yes, you saw that right; if you see photos online of a certain dish, it may not be there the day you dine there. The menu is constantly changing. My friend wanted the oxtail pho and it wasn't on the menu that day, but our waiter knew exactly what she was talking about and said that he can request it to be made since it was still on their takeout menu.As for the food & drinks:- drinks were good and they did not go overboard with the alcohol- Le Fried Chicken Wings were crispy, delicious, and flavorful.- Raw oysters were fresh, but not the biggest- Grilled Sea Scallops were also fresh and filled with flavors.- Sesame Shrimp Toast was so crispy on the outside. I don't know what the sauce that came with it was, but it was such a nice pairing.- Pho 75 + the Spiced Red Wine Braised Beef was amazing! Not sure if they continued to have the braised beef option, but it is worth the $14. The soup and sauces were so rich in flavor, but it didn't feel too heavy or salty. We even took the soup and braised beef to go since we couldn't finish it.The Pig & The Lady is definitely on the higher end in terms of price, but the quality of everything makes it worth it. Truly was a great experience and would recommend anyone to stop by.

Highly recommended by friends so we made a reservation well ahead of our trip. Unfortunately couldn't get the pho french dip sandwich since it's not on the dine-in dinner menu, but we got the roasted beets, le fried chicken wings, clam and sausage pasta, and the pho 75.Simply put, the flavors here are incredible. The roasted beets had a lot going on, but flavors still blended well. Le fried chicken wings were some of the best wings I've ever had - absolute must. Pho was different than your typical and worth trying and the clam and sausage pasta was delicious.Would def come back and try the other things that come up on the menu!

Definitely make reservations for dinner. We chose all appetizers for the meal. The Ahi Toast was basic yet delicious. The Roasted Beets had a few unexpected flavors ("caramelized white chocolate snow” is tasty!). The Quail Egg & Caviar Banh Khot is an unusual pairing yet the rich tarts goes well with the lettuce wraps. The curry on the Roasted Cauliflower was fabulous. The mixture of ingredients that do not usually go together were delivered in the most amazing ways. Wish we could have tried more though we wanted dessert. Save room: The light cheesecake has the strangest topping that contained fish oil. Seriously good. The Pineapple Shave Ice was wild. Black eyed peas and coconut jelly with pandan mung bean over ice cream and shave ice? It was a bizarre combination of ingredients and a delicious treat. Great vibe and our server was sweet and funny making it a great experience.

don't try to go, don't waste your time if you don't have a reservation. We were extremely poorly treated. We arrived at 5:30, restaurant opening time, and were told they didn't have a table. the restaurant was empty.

Easily our best dining experience this year in Oahu.Fresh produce, fresh bread and quality protein made this one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've eaten at in a very long time. It's "elevated" Vietnamese, but not to the point where it's indistinguishable and stays true to its roots/provenance. The ambience is great, and for a lunch time or dinner spot I would recommend this to anyone for a business lunch, dinner with friends or absolutely any occasion. Not only that, but they did not hesitate to pull together a few tables for our large group of 11 and took care of us. Can't wait to return on our next trip to Hawaii.

We’ve been twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. The menu is actually quite different based on time of day but both meals have been so delicious. For dinner we got the beets, ahi toast, chicken wings, linguine and clams and the sundae. I would recommend all of those but the linguine and clams blew us away. The sundae was tasty and fun and chicken wings are a signature dish of theirs so you’ve to do that one.
