To start off by saying thank you to the staff that hosted tonight I loved the exceptional service, and smiling faces. I ordered a pound of mussels in the garlic sauce. They where cooked perfectly, the garlic tasted fresh, but there where not as many as you would think you would get. I also ordered the fried calamari they where fried in a fish fry which I was not really a fan of, they where kinda bland. They offered to clean the shrimp and crawl fish. The sauces where good but the garlic sauce got bland after a while. The French fries where crispy. I do not think I will be returning, but keep up the hard work.
Service is amazing here, it was our first time here and they gave a detailed explanation for what to expect. We had the oysters, softshell crab and the king crab combo. The server was right, eating with your hands makes the food taste better.
Great service Very Good food ? I would go again ?
Nice new but sorta down home Cajun cookery with all sorts of coastal seafood options, including a XXX combo special, that tastes as good as it sounds tantalizing! If you're sick of the of protocol and "properness" of eating with utensils and want to truly become one with your food before you devour it with your hands then this is the place! Perfectly balanced temperature and sound. Great place to have fun with your food and lay it all over the table if you want to (bibs and full table covers are provided)!
AMAZING! The food was hot, flavorful and more than we could eat! Brandon, our server, was awesome as well. Just roll us out of here, we are DONE! Tooooo good!
Went there with my friends and family. I enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and patient. We were the last customers out....lol
Service: Bad! Forgot everything: Front cover, gloves, spoon.Flavour: chose 3, but only 1.Seafood: shrimps and clams almost RAW! And the rice is so hard! Crab taste bad. Most of the foods are cold!
We are here from Georgia and have never spent this much money on seafood before and The Juicy Crab in Atlanta is way better and a much bigger franchise. 50 bucks for one cluster of snow crab and it does not include any sausage, potato, corn eggs or etc. you have to pay additional for add ons. For what you get at this restaurant…it’s way too expensive. The portions are small! So it’s definitely not worth the money you will spend. You’re basically paying for their shipping cost to receive seafood from the mainland.I ordered shrimp and had to send it back because it was very mushy and they DO NOT clean the shrimp. The manager offered to make more shrimp for me and I politely declined. If I have to clean the seafood…I don’t want it. Especially when I’m spending my money. The seasoning is also very thick and very salty. They do not provide gloves to eat your food as they do on the mainland. There is no bucket on the table to dispose of the shells you have to ask for an additional an plastic bag. The menu is NOT kid friendly so beware when being small children. Chicken tenders and fries is all that they have. They don’t have any utensils! The lady offered us chopsticks and spoons. I thought that was a joke. There is a hand washing station…so I’ll give them credit for that. If you come here…beware of the sketchy high prices as the prices for the seafood is listed as “fair market value.” And that can be potentially any price they want to charge in my opinion. This was our first time at the restaurant and the waitress did not do a great job explaining the menu and the way food is priced but I still gave him a tip.I’m from Florida so I’ll cook my own seafood before they get this type of money from me again. It wasn’t worth it. And this is coming from someone who looooooves seafood.
The chicken wings were undercooked and the waitress offered to “throw them back in the grease.” That is a huge no no! Why would a waitress even offer to do such a thing! The fish was not cooked all the way either. The fried shrimp were a huge disappointment as well. Not to mention that we had to wait an extremely long time to get the food and wait even longer for the undercooked food to be made over again.
Being from Louisiana, I miss having crawfish every spring. Good food and my lips are still tingly a few hours later. Can’t wait to fly back to O’ahu from Kaua’i for some more. Thank you Brandon for the great service. 10/10.
