Each meal is made with concentrated Aloha. Prices are good for being in the middle Honolulu's business district. It's super busy during lunch hour, but well worth it. Always..always they been super courteous, and helpful with the menu.
I always come here if I can on a weekly basis for my tacos and ambience , the chicken and lengua is delicious?? their spicy green salsa is perfect so shoutout to the chef and owner, of this piece of heaven on earth!Also, Danny (owner) is very polite and remembers my name when I come in. Every interaction makes me feel comfortable, shoutout to Gary as well!! Love that guy!
Best Mexican spot on the island. Street taco was bomb. Burrito bowl was fire. Chimichanga was on point and the salsa is sooooooooo delicious. Five stars honestly just isn’t enough. Will be coming back weekly if not daily!!!!!!!
ROACHES, Roaches Roaches‼️. Food portion was pathetic. I ordered Veggie tacos w/ Beans & Rice. He literally gave me a taco with just lettuce. Cost about $11 and change. Anywhere else like Oahu Mexican Grill, veggies means sautéed peppers, maybe some cauliflower, black beans & potatoes. Not a corn shell filled with lettuce. I could’ve made this at home.But when I saw the roach as I was putting my Tapatio hot sauce on my tacos, I left my food right there and walked out. Never going back. Im good.
This place has authentic mexican food! My tummy is always happy to enjoy the food from here! I cant wait to go back and order more tacos and their steak taco salad is delicious!!
Horrible. Worst customer service ever. They really give the impression that they have better things to do with their lives then be at work. When the staff finally engaged with me I felt no gratitude, even after pointing out the tip I was placing in jar... Saddest part is the food is decent and fairly inexpensive.
Love their Pico de Gallo on the burrito.
Really good food and quick service! I always order taco kabana for my office through door dash and even when it’s pretty last minute, they accept the order and get it out on time.
Updated: added a star for the nice replyLunch. My friend had street tacos which he said were great. I unfortunately had the quesadilla and it was meh. Colby cheese in a flour tortilla. It was supposed to come with pico, sour cream and salsa but they didn't put it in there so I ate a $12 plain cheese quesadilla. ??
I have been going to Taco Kabana for a few years now and I ALWAYS get great service, amazing food, and their environment is always welcoming. You can't go wrong with any food choice. If there were more stars, I'd give them a 10. Great job guys, and THANK YOU for always knowing your customers and providing the most delicious food and friendly service in downtown.
