Food is amazing. They were able to slot us in immediately without reservations.

Top-notch dining, and a sushi chef with a hearty laugh.I love this place. It’s everything you hope it will be. It’s unassuming, and initially feels like a hole in the wall, but as soon as you open the menu, you become aware that this is a serious restaurant.By serious, I mean that all the menu items (including the sake selection) are carefully considered and individually selected.I ordered 5 different fish, two small plates, lamb lollipops, and a bottle of sake. Every item was better than I hoped it would be.The staff is friendly competent, friendly, and well-versed in their craft. They explained the nuances of different fish flavors/textures in a ways that was easily digestible.Oh, and the sushi chef who served my sushi was warm, kind, and had a bolstering laugh. It was the kind of laugh that starts deep down in the gut and is a contagion to those in near proximity. They’re open 7 days a week. Go today.

Never disappoints, two choices of Uni. Hokkaido & Santa Barbara. You’ll need a reservation always.

Very attentive service, good portions size, good food quality and all the chef’s were Japanese, very cozy and authentic, definitely will be back

Always amazing. There is a wide selection of sake and a good variety of specials on the menu every time we visit, but the regular menu never lets you down here. Sushi ii comes in head and shoulders above all of the cheap competition in the area. The small difference you pay in price buys you fresh ingredients with excellent flavor.

Tried their Nigiri Omakase and it did not disappoint. Dishes were so fresh and practically melted in my mouth on each bite.My personal favorites were the Santa Barbara Uni, Langastino Baby Lobsters from New Zealand, Hokkaido Scallop, Annago Salt Water Eel and the Foie Gras.

A great hole in the wall restaurant in Honolulu, serving high quality Japanese food. They serve fresh sashimis as well as cooked food like this mouth-watering stewed beef tongue over mashed potatoes (highly recommended).

If I can give this place 6 stars I would. Best sushi restaurant I had in Honolulu. Highly recommend sitting in the sushi bar, and the chef will just serve you one piece at the time from light to rich favour. I will definitely go back when I m in Honolulu.

The abalone is very delicious. Sashimi are fresh and good quality ?

One of the most authentic sushi places in the island. We had a wonderful omakase nigiri meal. The lobster in the miso soup was a pleasant surprise at the end!
