Always has and always will be one of the best places to eat on Oahu. Legendary menu…pork chops, fried rice, kalbi and poke are a must. But you really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. Enjoy! ??

A friend made a reservation a week in advance. The lup cheong fried rice was delicious but the star was the fried chicken. The ribs were a little dry and was okay but definitely get that soy chicken, was worth it! Parking was hard to find.

One order of their fried rice is more than enough for four people! The lop cheung fried rice contained plenty of the Chinese sausage where other restaurants are stingy with this ingredient. The kimchi fried rice was also tasty and had a slight sweetness. Don’t order both unless you have really big eaters! The same goes for their garlic fried chicken. Their chicken was flavorful, moist, and tender with a nice garlicky flavor. Again, listen to your waitress. We had two orders in our table for four and we ate the fried rices and garlic chicken leftovers for days. But the cold chicken tasted great at the beach! The garlic fries were only okay, crispy but lacking the garlicky taste and there was some oil at the bottom of the plate. What did we learn boys and girls? Listen to your wise waitress!!

Local place near waikiki. A combo of a sports bar and restaurant. There was a fixed menu offering for 4-5 and there were 8 of us. The food was prompt, the beer was good, the portions were huge - served family style. A fun evening and the 8 of us did not finish the dishes.

I have not been to the Side St., Inn Alamoana location in many years, but the experience is still as good as ever. The decor of the restaurant hasn't changed in all the years I have dine there. The portions are huge and the food is always fresh and prepared to order. My favroite fried pork chops and fried rice is enough to feed a family of 4. Even though they are very busy they do try and accommodate everyone. Great help. Hardly any parking on the street if you ahve a car. Their is a parking garage across the street from the resaurant at $6 per hour cash only.

We came here for Happy Hour (20% off). There were two of us. We ordered fried rice, garlic chicken and crispy roast pork. There was enough food for a family of eight! The food was delicious, the service was great and there was a singer who was not good but okay. Inexpensive and tasty and filling.

You want Local Hawaii Food? This is the place to go!!!Funnily enough, I work right upstairs from the other side street inn location . I honestly just love this original locations vibe and food more. You have got to try their garlic chicken, Kim Chee fried rice and garlic fries. Their pork chop and their ribs are also really popular.Go with a big group , and share ! You'll have enough food for everyone to enjoy and take home:)I love this restaurants big portions and tasty food. It's a casual ambiance with good service and local cuisine.

Love love love this place! We keep coming back every time we're back in Oahu. The kimpchi fried rice and kalbi ribs are amazing!

The restaurant has gone through a complete modern remodeling. A new open look which helps to ease transmission concerns. The food is delicious as always. Live music and impromptu Hula greatly livened the atmosphere.

Make sure you bring your appetiteTruly enormous portions and best enjoyed with a group. The fried rice must be big enough to share with at least 4.The baby back ribs were perfectly cooked with a sweet sauce, they were delicious. Highly recommended. The service was friendly and the live music excellent.
