I enjoyed two meals at Siam Square on my most recent visit to Waikiki. What a sweet place! The food is excellent, the staff is VERY friendly, and service is prompt. It's worth a trip if you love Thai food!
We last visited this little gem in 2011 and we were thrilled to see it still here and open! Honestly, it was even better than we remembered! Every one of us loved our dishes - the Drunkards Noodle have the same familiar taste I get at the place near my house, but the food here has a unique richness that I have not found and could not duplicate if I tried! Prices are amazing, service was friendly and kitchen was fast!
We found this little restaurant by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We stopped past on our last night to grab some take out and it was just as good as when we ate in.
Came here on basis of great general reviews. Staff was pleasant and working hard. My son's soda was a full can of Coca-Cola at a good price, so that was appreciated. Spring rolls were crispy and delicious. Son loved his beef with chow fun noodles, and hubby his lemongrass chicken. My massaman curry had a good sauce, but bits of chicken with fat and gristle. My fave restaurants in NY also add avocado and it is delicious, but there was none here. I am not sure if theirs is traditional or the ones I get in NY ( but I prefer with avocado). We ordered to go soup for my other son and despite writing it down, it was not made. We had to wait another 15 minutes for that. They seem to be doing quite well, but small improvements could help.
I googled their business and food seems tasty. I'm staying in Waikiki for my business and jus got done with work I walked through the door and the Thai worker looked at me and said, "what do you want here?" Wow what a welcome lol then I was like what? Then she said, "something like a bus boy is..." I was so hungry and couldn't believe how I was treated I walked out and as I was leaving she said goodbye and good riddance... Unbelievable
This is a great restaurant. Food and service were good. If we were in Honolulu longer we would have eaten there more than once. It is conveniently located off Lewers and Royal Hawaiian Ave. Entry is off Lewers.
Seriously some of the best Thai food that I’ve ever had. And that includes at numerous mom & pops in NYC.Siam Square’s roasted eggplant with shrimps & ground pork salad ; the tamarind soup rich with fish sauce flavour, fish filet & bitter melon ; the earthy fresh mint taste highlighting the chicken laab (larb), the zesty shredded cucumber salad… and the mango sticky rice was good.Everything, on each visit, we’ve loved it all. Attentive & responsive service that is professional & reserved.Corkage fee of $15 / bottle (wine). Would definitely recommend bringing your own wine, as the bottles / glasses available at the restaurant are of entry-level commercial quality. Beers, mostly large Thai brands, are standard & fine.I want to eat everything on the menu. And, with quietly playing Thai music videos on the TVs, what’s not to like ?
Amazing food! Wonderful staff very attentive! Small little hidden place. Don’t go by the look, food was great!
They made the stir fried veg and the noodles as a vegetarian option and spicy!! Food was yum!!
Just ordered via phone here earlier. When we got there 20 minutes later, food was ready. Their food has a nice heat on it on the spicy level and they have a good amount of protein compared to Thai Issan which now feels like a rip off.
