It was such an incredibly experience eating here. We had the popcorn chicken, chef special noodle, family recipe noodle soup, and the retro beef soup noodle. The owner was so engaging and we learned so much about food from him. The food was SO amazing, we can’t wait to be back!
The popcorn chicken was sooooooo delicious, even better than I’ve had from the night markets in Taiwan. The noodles are also super authentic. I’m looking forward to trying more and more of their menu. Food is super legit!
Food was great. Owner, I assume, was very attentive to how we handle the spice. Very friendly. Definitely worth a repeat. There are 5 levels of spice. I only tried 2 and 3. Will try 4 next time since the owner doesn't recommend 5 unless you know what you are putting in your mouth.
In my opinion, this is the best Taiwanese eatery in Oahu. Also, possibly the oldest Taiwanese restaurant in Oahu. I always eat at this establishment whenever I visit Hawaii (Oahu). I have been coming here ever since the early 1990s. My favorite is the minced pork with rice, steamed vegetable with minced pork, and beef noodle soup. I am literally drooling as I am writing this review. I highly recommend eating here if you are looking for authentic Taiwanese cuisine.
Super tasty spicy broth I ever had!!You can adjust your spicy level from 1-5. If you never try it before I recommend you spicy level 1. I had lv 2 and it taste so good. The broth is thick combine with pickled cabbage.The egg noodle is super good too.The chef also has excellent service mind. He always check on you and ask everything okay.There’s also contest every year around Halloween. The contest is you have finish spicy noodle level 5 as soon as possible. You will get a trophy, prize, and your name will be posted on hall of frame.However, last year as of 2021, the winner won the contest with 4.26 mins! This is so incredible!!If you want to challenge yourself, or you are looking a good noodle, this place cannot be missed!

One of the best meals we've had in Honolulu! The friendly owner is also the cook and he'll make dishes to your taste. We had spicy and delicious three cup chicken and also salt-and-pepper fish. Highly recommended!

Nice spot for good Taiwanese food. Broth is tasty and perfectly seasoned. Dumplings are nice and juicy.
