The ramen taste sooo good, not very salty as other ramen. Except the food, service is definitely worth a 5 stars. Everyone is very nice and I can see their smile all the time even they wearing masks. Definitely will go back again and again. It always has a waiting line outside, but it worth to wait.

Went to this restaurant with my wife. It’s very small and definitely has the feel of a ramen shop from Japan. We decide to each get the Tokyo Ramen. The bowl is very fair size. The broth is clear with a very slight salty flavor overall. Tons of ramen with some bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, fried garlic, and green onion. You get one slice of pork. Plenty of noodles and tender. We liked this eatery but every patron must spend at least $14. So if you want to split a bowl of ramen then you will have to get extra food that comes out to be $14. Also if you decide to use a gift card they charge you 18% service charge or you have to leave a cash tip. Found that to be interesting. Overall not a bad spot but overall nothing to write home about.

Last visited 10 years ago and the Raman is still delicious. The ox tail Raman is still tender and flavorful. The spicy raman was not very spicy but still very good. Great rice and fried gyoza. Limited seating with about a 20 minute wait. Clear, plastic, dividers between parties. No alcohol sold and there is a 40 minute max for dinner. So eat and get out! Very friendly and efficient staff. Once you order expect your food within 5 to 10 minutes. We enjoy this place very much.

Excellent ramen, generous portions. Believe them when they say the spicy is spicy! I got the spicy ramen and gyoza, all was excellent. Worth the short wait. FYI: there is no alcohol served here and you can’t bring in your own. Also no bathroom. Would definitely visit again, thanks for the great meal!

Amazing ramen! If you are thinking if heading back because you are tired of waiting, think twice. Because this place is definitely worth it!! The line moves slowly due to limited seating capacity, but the staffs friendliness and the taste of food makes up for it.

The ramen was yummy and broth flavorful. My kiddo who is not into soups like the fried noodles with crunchy peppers. You have to sign up and wait your turn since the place is small and can only accommodate a few people at a time. I liked that they have the chili oil and condiments lined up so you can add what you want in your food. We really enjoyed the delicious food.

Delicious ramen in a small “hole in the wall” setting. Don’t go with a large group, limited seating, so expect to wait even for a party of 2 and leave when you’re finished eating. Spicy Ramen and Spicy Oxtail were delicious and worth the small wait—don’t expect great communication, as they’re busy tending to guests and seemed English is a second language. Nice break from “tourist-resort food” in the area, highly recommend and will be back before leaving the island.

I would call this place unique vs authentic. I have been to japan myself and have had lots of ramen. If you go to different shops vs chain they have their own ramen and flavors and this shop would fall into that category. If you are a person who likes to explore flavors this is a place to try. Just be prepared to wait. :) i think that the price for a hawaiian place to eat is just right.

Busy little Japanese restaurant. You only have 40 minutes for you to eat and enjoy your meal. The Fried rice was ? The Giozas were fresh and crispy? I had tried a lot ramen in Cali, all good and rich in flavor. This time here in Honolulu I tried the Oxtail Spicy specialty, it was good and dense. The broth flavor was really good. I loved the ginger touch very much. I would have preferred more oxtails in my ramen because they were tender and flavorful, taking in consideration the $28 bowl, I was expecting more meat. If you don't have this opportunity where you live, do it here! Total party of three $100 with tip. No liquor available.

Even though the seating is very limited the food is fantastic. Waiting times can go between 30 min to 1 hour or a little longer over the weekend (nights). Try the oxtail spicy noodles soup or the fry noodles. You won't regret it. !! Highly recommended.
