This is truly the best place for a fresh and healthy meal while on vacay! Everything tastes AMAZING. I love their Turkey Avocado sandwich, salads and smoothies!! Their honey lemon tea cannot be beat! The staff are so friendly and take care in preparing all of the food and drinks. I also really appreciate that they all wear masks and gloves! This is a MUST try spot while on Waikiki, especially if you are staying at the Outrigger.

I am really disappointed I was looking forward to this and was starving. I was told they aren't making sandwiches only smoothies. Really the lady behind the counter just didn't feel like making them so she sent me to another sandwich shop. The original lady who makes sandwiches was taking a break. Just a weird way to handle business. I asked to wait but she didn't know when she would be back.
Pro Tip: Call Ahead. This place is tiny and gets busy. Best to call in your order and designate a representative to go pick up your order and skip the line and long wait times.Also better to skip the families of 5-7 standing around in a tiny corner with little kids screaming and jumping and bumping into people and their parents not caring that their kids keep screaming and bumping into people standing in line. Yes, that part was unpleasant.
very nice staff and great menu options :)i got the turkey and avocado. the staff is very accommodating; i got no mayo, and mustard on the sidevery fresh. i loved the combo of the veggies on the sandwich.the locations is kinda tucked away inside, bu tur you walk to the back of the hotel entrance it’s in the right of Dave’s
Excellent light lunch!!! After a week’s worth of lunches loaded with rice and potatoes as sides, we were thrilled to find an option for lighter meals.Pai Deli was a Great find. We had the Caesar salad, the Captain’s salad with vinaigrette and the Pastrami and Provolone on croissant and wheat bread.The fresh vegetable medley for sandwiches and salads was refreshing and abundant. Will definitely try them again.All meals are to go so We enjoyed our meal beachside. Excellent food with friendly and courteous service. Thank You.
My family and I had just arrived in Honolulu and were excited to start our long awaited (and much needed) vacation. The first thing we did when we arrived from the airport was get some lunch. We chose Pai's Deli due to the great reviews. My wife ordered the tuna salad sandwich, thinking that fish would be great; we are in Hawaii after all.After a couple hours had passed, my wife complained about a horrible headache and not feeling well. Shortly after, she began vomiting and having diarrhea. When none of the symptoms had let up the next morning, I took her to Doctors of Waikiki (who were fantastic) where she was diagnosed with food poisoning. She was so dehydrated and her symptoms were so severe they had to give her IV fluids. Pai's was the only food she had in over 13 hours since we flew to Honolulu from Detroit, Michigan the night before and had slept (or tried to) on the plane.Thanks to Pai's disregard for their customers health and well-being, my wife was unable to join me and our kids for our pre-paid excursions to Diamond Head and a luau. Not only that, we also got stuck paying for a doctors visit and prescribed medications. Oh, and don't forget the cost of the lunch.I recommend you avoid eating at Pai's, There are so many other great options to choose from, don't risk ruining your vacation like ours was.
Pai’s deli is absolutely fantastic. The food is made fresh, and talk about generous. The staff are always friendly! We look forward to our salads and milkshakes every trip to Hawaii!
Delicious food at some of the best prices you'll see on Oahu, especially Waikiki. My sandwich was made fresh right in front of me, service was reasonably quick, and the owner (I'm assuming) was very friendly in taking orders. Would highly recommend!
