PAI is our favorite place to go as a family! They were the first restaurant on Oahu we know of that had an official dog menu, and dogs are welcome to dine on the patio with their humans for special occasions. We've eaten at PAI a handful of times and each time, the staff and owners would personally come out and say hello to our multi-species family, making sure everything was to our liking. The patio also has a separate sound system from the inside of the restaurant, so when we were the only ones dining on the patio, they let us choose the music ? As someone who enjoys the finer things in life, I am always impressed with everything at PAI!These pictures are from when we got takeout during the pandemic for my birthday; for the germophobic but fancy, PAI offers excellent curbside service as well.
Great night of food exploration. Presentation and creativity over the topâ¦and extremely tasty. We will visit again on our next visit to Hawaii!
Fabulous service! Food was good but there was a mismatch at times in the dishes. Corn soup was good but the random bits of corn in the crab seemed forced, steak was good but bean puree was heavy. Needs some work given the price point I would say.
We had the four course meal and added oysters. Dinner was exceptional. Balanced flavors. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Great bar program.
I love coming here. The menu changes up just about every month - so you're always in for a treat. The food was visually appealing as well as just tasty.The pacing of the meal was great and the staff are super attentive and friendly. Their outdoor seating is dog friendly which is amazing as I was able to bring my pup out to celebrate! What's even better is that they have a doggie menu!! My pup Tako enjoyed his time out.
From the Samoan crab cold corn soup and the next 2 dishes after was just too much salt and chili. We had to drink so much water. My fatherâs steak had so much gristle he wasnât happy about it at all. The gnocchi was lumpy and undercooked. Gnocchi means pillow. They were not pillows at all. We felt there lack of cohesion to all the dishes. The lamb look funn the middle part of the noodle was hard and raw so it was not edible. I came here before with my friend to celebrate her masterâs degree. That dinner was definitely 5 stars. This dinner however was 0 stars very disappointing.
