Small, hole in the wall spot with very limited seating outside. The value is pretty good as you can mix and match with different kinds of poke on the menu to your liking and the meal comes with a drink. The poke was delicious. However, the rice was mushy. As well, the place closes very early at 6PM. Would’ve been nicer if it opened even a bit later at 8PM perhaps.

This was the fifth poke place we tried while in Honolulu and it was hands down the best. The quality of the fish was immaculate and the flavours were perfected. I got the spicy salmon and the shoyu ahi and they complemented each other well. I also loved the rice puffs they put on top of the bowl. The portion was also great and came to about $20. Would definitely recommend

Rice was way too many. Came here at 2 pm, some of the flavor had already sold out. Sashimi was fresh and the taste were great.

Amazing poke! Very fresh, and the sauce that they use for the spicy ahi is very delicious! Be prepared for a line if you go around a meal time (lunch, dinner) as the actual store front isn’t very large inside. They do have outdoor seating, but it can be taken very quickly as there isn’t a lot to choose from. But all that frankly doesn’t matter. Service was very smooth, and the staff was very friendly! Everyone from regulars to brand new tourists can feel welcome here and get amazing food!

It was a super hot day and a car parked in front had the engine on so it was double the heat.. so the aircon inside was heaven to me hahaha we got shoyu ahi and Hawaiian ahi bowls. The Hawaiian ahi bowl was a bit too salty for me, shoyu was nice. I'm giving three because for some reason, the ahi we had here was very.. like mushy?? I don't know how to explain, chewy mushy fatty I don't know. I think it might’ve been the heat and the fact that we weren't too hungry, but I didn't like it too much, my tourist tongue was yet to be accustomed to the Hawaiian local ways. It seems quite popular and everyone else seem to enjoy the food so definitely try, probs would have a different opinion to me! I couldn't finish it though ?

Just a decent poke joint. Not sure why the reviews are so high. We had the spicy ahi platter and the combo platter - ahi and tako (octopus). Seasoning was ok. Rice was too warm and warmed up the poke quickly. Not a good thing if you have to drive a bit of a distance. Highest price point (about $ 20 for a 1/2 lb. order). Fresh Catch is superior by a mile!

After trying so many poke spots in Oahu, I must say that Ono Seafood is one of my top favorites. The shop is quite small and there are only 2-3 tables outside, so their food is mostly meant for takeout. They share a parking lot with other businesses, so you don't have to worry too much about that. Luckily, the day my friends and I went, the line wasn't too long. It didn't take long to order either since there was a menu outside for you to look at.When you order a poke bowl, it comes with a free drink. I loved every option I chose! The fish was so fresh and the texture was perfect. Every bite has so many flavors and it was great. The portion was enough for a whole lunch. I was stuffed by the end.Ono Seafood definitely lived up to the hype. It's a must when visiting Oahu!

I went to their other location and had to come back. Their poke was so delicious. I got the ahi tuna and wow did it melt in my mouth. This location also offers a free drink which was very convenient. The rice was already prepared in containers when we walked in, so it wasn’t the hottest. No public washroom.

I came expecting the highest standards from this place not just from previous Google ratings but also lists of the best poke on Oahu. I was sorely disappointed. I found the ahi to be less than fresh. Save your time and money. Go to the seafood counter at Foodland up the street. You’ll pay half as much money for twice as much quality.

My family loves poke, we have made a point to try as many as we can when we travel and especially on Oahu since most places offer good-great poke. Like most staples in food, there is subjectivity. I feel like great poke is about the freshness of the fish. Yes, the sauces/seasoning make it unique however, it is all about the freshness and price. Ono is the best overall in my opinion. There are a few contenders like Foodland Farms poke bar (great value) and Fresh Catch. Yes, some of the restaurants will charge you double for less poke and it comes with a view. Ono delivers everything for the foodie driven by taste and value. It is not elegant, they serve in plastic. This is about the fish. I am thankful I met a local that told me to try, feel like it is my duty to share although you want to keep it a secret. Hope you enjoy.
