I was very excited to eat here for the first time on island as we always haven’t had an Olive Garden, but I was deeply disappointed. We had a party of 7, 4 kids three adults. The service here was awful. Our order was messed up on three separate occasions with two different meals both of the orders being kids meals. The breadsticks were rock hard…. One of the kids meals, was sent back twice because they brought the wrong thing twice. We finally left with the right pizza in a to go box. Pre-bussing didn’t seem to be a thing here as every dish that came to our table sat there in a pile at the end of the table. Not what you would typically see or experience here. We had two appetizers, and since our food took so long they brought us out a complimentary appetizer….of which we just ate. The gesture was nice but we didn’t even touch the second calamari they brought out. My son ordered the pepperoni pizza, they brought out a chicken fingers and spaghetti meal. We corrected this, the second time they brought out a cheese pizza, finally the third time we were able to take it home. Unfortunately not really the service we were looking for; especially with such a hefty bill.
Great food, great atmosphere, great price. Bread sticks and soup were very good. We also got the shrimp scampi and eggplant parmigiana. The shrimps were spectacular, but there were too much asparagus which overpowered the pasta's taste. The eggplant parmigiana was great aside from the spaghetti side being a little bit too sour for us.
we had a large meeting and it had gotten out late...we had a party of 23 and it was 30 min. before closing. The staff took good care of us, our food was amazing esp. SO close to closing and everyone from kitchen staff, to our waiter/waitress and even the host took excellent care of us.
A 30 minute wait. Not bad. Really liked the Chicken Marsala, wished it came with something other than Alfredo. A tossed salad would have been a healthier option.
When you place your order you give lead time to pickup. I ordered and my order would be done 1.25 hrs later. But, Ala Moana will not have your order done in that time. Give them 45 minutes later, my grandkids are starving now, it’s 9:00pm. Kids don’t eat that late. I won’t be online ordering ever from Olive Garden Ala Moana and maybe just stay away from there and Support local. No compassion for being 45 minutes late. Uncalled for. Whose the manager???? DO BETTER AND SERVE ON TIME
service and food was better tonight than any other OG we have attended. will definitely be back before trip is over.
I was dining solo and wanted to eat at the bar. I was quoted a 25 min wait to eat at the bar with only ONE other patron there. No logical reason. Bartender wasn’t slammed. A bit Ridiculous!
Lunch special unlimited breadsticks, soup and salad. What else is there to get?The best bargain in town. Of course they do get busy and sometimes there's a wait but that's to be expected.Salad with Italian dressing and the croutons and are awesome. We usually get two.The gnocchi soup is nice and different, nice soft texture and piping hot. The other soup with potatoes and meat is delicious too but can be watery sometimes.I love the Alfredo pasta, add chicken for a little extra.Lasagna is very meaty. Portion looks small but actually just right for the price.Glass of wine about $10. Get a cocktail instead if you want that buzz.Tiramisu, light and sweet and almost guilt free. Get one to share
Wonderful experience! You can't beat the Italian ambiance to calm you and soothe your insides!My first time at this location after waiting a couple years for them to open here at Ala Moana after hearing about the restaurant plans.The Tour of Italy was tasteful and of the quality as if made from scratch in Italy! Very good portion sizes and loads of salad and bread sticks! ?️ ?
Although this restaurant was only about a year old when we visited it had the same problems you find at every Olive Garden.... Slow service.... The food is the same as you'd get on the mainland except more expensive, and in some cases not as good. I love the Pasta e fagioli soup,but it tasted like a watered-down version. I was disappointed in the service. We were there about 2pm (lunch rush was over) and it took30 minutes for wait staff to take our order and 45 minutes to get our food
