Best poke we’ve had. We tried almost all of their pokes - our favorite was the wasabi furikake. All of the fish was high quality and the cuts were quite large. Everything was noticeably fresh, too! This is a must try.
I got the shoyu ahi and spicy ahi on white rice, hubby got shoyu ahi and Hawaiian special on sushi rice. All were very good, however it was a bit too salty for us personally. Not the best poke I’ve had, but still very good! I’m also a firm believer that no poke bowl is complete without crab salad - that was definitely missed! But the service was excellent, super efficient, and the employees were very friendly.
During one of my trips to Manoa Valley, I decided to stop by based on a relative’s recommendation. Some highlights: - not a lot of parking stalls behind the building - no one allowed inside so all ordering took place at the door. - lines may seem long but it moved quickly - simple menu with poke bowls or poke by the weight - refrigerated case at the entrance showed all available poke options - quick service and friendly staff - not cheap but worth it Since I was trying to cut back on carbs I skipped the rice and just ordered poke itself. Kilauea fire ahi was good and spicy with the sufficient heat for my taste buds. The miso ginger tako was delicious and the right chew on the octopus. I’ll make sure I have enough space in the stomach to try more during my next visit.
The thrill of trying this highly rated poke spot in Manoa was exhilarating!I had to try the Hawaiian style and my usual, the spicy ahi— the fish was chill atop a bed of sushi rice with all the toppings, and the ahi would just melt in your mouth with every bite! The whole meal was an umami of flavours and the right amount of savoury and spicy. You can opt for a small (mini) $13 or regular size ($15) with choice of white, brown or sushi rice, or salad. I’d highly recommend making a trip here if you’re looking for fresh poke with big portions!
Had a friend recommend this place while we were visiting and could not have been better food. always a little line, which is a good thing as the locals know where the good stuff is. Missing this place on the mainland!!
Try a half and half with rice and salad. Any of the seafood options are good choices.
The good: the tuna is very fresh, big chunks, great quality; the spicy ahi option had an amazing sauce which I lovedThe bad: only the fish itself is covered in sauce while the rest of the bowl like the rice is a little bland; There is no nice topping choices, no vegetables, only sesame and onion - that makes the poke bowl a bit boring and there would be so much potential making it nice with proper toppings;I didn’t like the ginger ahi and the Hawaiian ahi - the sauces just didn’t taste great to me but that’s subjective.

Got the regular sized, with Hawaiian and spicy ahi poke over a bowl of salad. The portion size was big! Great deal for $15 and probably one of the best poke places I've been to as a local. Definitely going back!
What a fantastic find! We stumbled on this place after hiking Manoa Falls and we are so happy we did! The poke selections are amazing and we ended up wanting to make the drive back all week to get some amazing poke. There is a line but we’ll worth the wait.
