Best bang for your buck meal in Honolulu! Food is delicious and the 2 entree meal is massive
Our grad night dinner was a relaxed affair at this small restaurant. It wasn't very busy and we were seated quickly. Our orders were also taken pretty soon as we were seated. Unfortunately, my order was brought to the table long after the other members of my family, so if I hadn't ordered an appetizer I would have been left just sitting there as everyone else was eating. We had the fried oysters, the butterfish, the California roll, and the katsu menchi. All the dishes were yummy and the warm sake I had was very nice.
I went here with my family for a night out and the food and beverages were all wonderful. We had a wide assortment of dishes and all of them were delightful. My family had insisted I try the oyster shooters and I was skeptical at first but they had great flavor and a nice variety of texture, and weren't slimy like I'd expected with raw oysters. The wait staff were attentive and always seemed to check up on us right as we needed them. Later in the night we ordered more drinks and I wanted a mojito which was not something on their menu, but they do have a fully stocked bar. The drink they came back with wasn't quite a mojito. They didn't have fresh mint so they used ginger instead, but it was absolutely delicious and I was very pleased with it! I asked for another a while later and the second time they added fresh cucumber to it, which made it even better!! Very refreshing and delicious. Definitely a top notch place to go to, highly recommended.
The food was fresh and delicious. First meal in Hawaii was a great one.
I was so excited to eat at my first sushi spot as a visitor. Our waitress was kind of rude as she was giving attitude to our table. The food did not taste good at all. I was very disappointed. My friends and I all got sick.
A hidden gem in Honolulu out of the Waikiki bubble. They have great happy hour specials. I recommend trying a bit of everything and sharing. I especially loved the Hamachi Carpaccio.I found the fried calamari uninspiring so save your appetite for the other offerings. The atmosphere is very pleasant and has a traditional Japanese feel to it and the service is quick and cordial. I believe it is a long running family business and this is evident in the pride they take with their food and service.A satisfying and sweet spot on Kapiolani.*As a side note they do serve alcohol, wine and beer (@ some happy hour prices as well) Google menu
food was awesome and delicious, service was top of the line and the atmosphere was great! I would recommend visiting with Odon-ko, I will definitely be there again in the near future.
this was our first sushi/Japanese restaurant we tried on our first visit to Hawaii on the island of Oahu by Waikiki Beach we went because of recommendations and location and availability of reservations. food was great and as well service.the seafood/sushi was really fresh and decent portions.
Great sushi and atmosphere. There are not a lot of rolls to choose from but their quality is good and portions are huge. Price is above average, service is quick and waiters were very attentive and friendly! Certainly worth checking out and I would definitely come back again!
The Service and Food are excellent. I can't say enough good things about this place other than Delicious! What a wonderful treat it was.Their Happy Hour menu was especially noteworthy and affordable. You bet I will return!
