Really innovative and satisfying cuisine

I felt quite disappointed by the food here. We did the family meal for four and I only enjoyed a few of the dishes. The chicken was delicious and well prepared. The meat was moist and tender, and the skin was crisp but not too greasy. We also enjoyed the brownie with sesame ice cream. Aside from those two dishes, everything else was just okay. A couple of the items were quite salty— the clams and the pohole. Unfortunately, I would not return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to friends.

Go early for parking which is limited. Bench seating outside, but quite loud due to Waialae traffic--inside seating is very nice. 5 star food and service.

Valentina Rocks! Don’t lose her!

Server was amazing; helpful, knew all the details of each dish. Atmosphere was great, music interesting and fit the vibe of the place. Dishes were unique and loved that they used a lot of local, "exotic" ingredients. The desert was a highlight.

Overall cute place with good food. We had a small mishap with the chicken dish but was immediately addressed and were offered 2 free deserts which were delicious.

One of the most creatively authentic restaurants in Honolulu. Kaimuki is a culinary treasure chest and MHW is it's crown jewel. Go with a group and order everything on the menu. Way underrated bar...

Fam. Thanks

This is my favorite restaurant on Oahu! It’s farm to table, so supports sustainability and local farmers. Furthermore, it is the best of quality ingredients, nurturing nutrition (if you make wise choices), culinary creativity, beauty and amazing flavors! Check it out!

Best meal we had in Honolulu (or maybe the best meal I’ve had in a year?!). Amazing integration of local ingredients and fusion flavors. Mapo rice cakes were insane! Great cocktails, not too sweet and perfectly nuanced flavors. Vincent our server was great. Don’t miss the brownie!
