Def go for the black garlic broth and choose classic ramen. Their tsukemen is good but tasted too sweet for my taste.

Good chewy noodle. Small shop in am odd location.

Love this place. My most favorite tsukemen in the US by far

Went with the tsukemen based on the 4sq advice. Solid move and highly recommend. The broth is more potent than traditional ramen, in case you are wondering.

Menya is a quick Ramen shop that I am glad to have in the neighborhood. There are a lot of food options around, but Ramen, for one reason or another, isn't available. Luckily menya is here to scratch that itch.To give a little background about myself. I was raised in a part of Japan that takes pride in their tonkotsu Ramen, and I have my opinions on how it should look, smell, and taste. (It should smell a bit off-putting from the outside, look milky silky smooth, be served with lots of spicy pickles on the side, and have fatty pork slices all around)That said, I know every region in Japan has their own opinion on what is "correct" and shall be left up to debate. In my opinion, it's hard to mess up any Ramen so bad that it's not delicious.Wait staff is nice, food is good for Hawaii, and they actually serve beer! Parking is a nuisance, prices are a little high, and I've never been blown away by anything. That said, I'll continue to dine there and will never turn down an invitation to go for a quick bite with a buddy.Would I put it in my "must dine at" places in the neighborhood? Probably not. Will I eat there once a month? Probably.Minus 1 star for charging over 10 dollars for 1 beer.

Food, service, and ambiance were fantastic. Couldn't stop talking about the perfect noodle texture. They also have great veggie broth ??

My favorite ramen place! The noodles have great chew and the broth is delicious - my favorite is the tonkotsu. I love that a regular "menya" bowl comes with an egg (not an add-on). Parking is limited (street parking in front) and there are only a few tables, so I usually just order carry out. It comes well packaged for carrying. Staff is always very friendly.

My favorite tsukemen :)Love the shoyu flavor, but they are all great

So so tasty, great happy hour deals. If you go right when they open you can get in and out pretty fast, but if you go later you may have to wait for a table.Parking is pretty limited.

Get that meaty tsukemen. Tsukemen is the new ramen btw.
