Big portions of tasty Filipino food, what's not to like? The mango smoothie and adobo were amazing, while the spaghetti was merely OK (I didn't think it was much better than Jolibee's). Be prepared to wait in line during busy times.

Great place and food. BUT DO NOT do online order because they don't pay attention to it. When you go there to pick it up, that's the time they process your order and you will have to wait another 15 to 30min. I prefer phone order but they weren't answering that time so I did an online order.

Okay, true confessions. This is a total Haole/Puraw review from someone that knows NOTHING about Filipino food. I do know that my Filipino family loves this place including our native grandma. We had a very large group and the restaurant provided us with a buffet which enabled me to sample a wide variety. Please excuse my Texas description of things but it's what I know. We had crispy pork which my Latino family there and I loved and referred to as pork Carnitas, yes we took some home and made tacos! There was something referred to as pigs ears? Had a nice spicy (picoso) bite to it with a ground beef texture. Some of that went back to the house (in Hawaii) too. The egg rolls were fantastic. I can't think of any bad experience, including the crispy pata which we thought was going to be duck (Pato) but came out a shocker! The restaurant was clean and well appointed. It was a high end experience well enjoyed. Thanks Max's for expanding my pallette!

Friendly hospitality, very good and quick service, and generous portions. My only regret was getting too full on the main dishes, that I didn’t have room for halo halo ? Hahah! Thank you, enjoyed every minute there. I will come back again ??

I ordered lumpia Shanghai last night and it's very oily and the deep sauce was super nasty!!!!

I was happy at first when i saw that there’s a max close to the hotel but unfortunately a bad experience, the server was rude and not friendly at all. And i was thinking to order more foods but he took the menu. Disappointed!

the complaint I have is about the food, the menu is misleading, ordered a whole fried chicken, the tiny chick size thing that came to me was smaller than even the smallest size of those little birds you get at the deli at supermarkets, When I called the waiter over and complained he said "that is a "spring" chicken" huh? I pointed to a nearby table where the more experienced diner had been served a chicken leg piece of chicken instead of a whole chicken and asked why was his single leg/thigh piece much much bigger than my "whole chicken" ? the stupid response was "They are different sizes" I said I could see that, but why the difference and why couldnt I get one like the picture in the menu of the whole fried chickens , he called over a woman from behind the cashier stand who explained that "yes it is a problem but they come either cut up or whole and all the whole ones are little. I felt cheated but as I had already had the soup first course (not very good soup at that) I had no choice but to pay for my dinner . clearly they must do other things better but I am not a fan

Great food, nice setting, friendly staff and they're flexible with their menu, especially for those that have seafood allergies! ?

To fix your modern-classic Filipino cravings, head nowhere but in Max’s Restaurant. When you are in a foreign country this will make you feel at home and the crew is trying their best to offer you dishes that will comfort your Filipino inner soul.Ordered tapsilog and bangsilog that both comes with garlic rice (which is really good coz ain’t dominated with lotsa garlic) and two over-easy egg. It’s so good and reminds me when I was in College. It comes with vinegar and papaya salad as a small side dish. I kinda don’t care about the papaya salad.Overall I enjoy the food and were cooked tasty. Will recommended!Aloha!
