Really disappointed with this place. Waited a long time to get in, but then have to pay AND tip before seeing what the quality of food and service is like. Service was ok, but the beer wasn't cold enough, the French Fries were way overcooked (some were actually cremated), the goat cheese salad was missing the dressing that was listed on the menu, the lettuce seemed wilted and not that fresh and the calamari came out barely warm. Maybe we just went on an off day but nothing to suggest we'd go back in a hurry.

Happy hour here is amazing. I’m very picky about my beer and I like their beer. Try the Karoshi for a light, flavorful lager perfect for a warm day.
We went to here on Saturday afternoon for lunch and to watch a basketball game, as this was billed as a sports bar in addition to brewery. Apparently the sports bar classification is very wrong. We had our covid credentials checked and then up the elevator we went. When upstairs you have to wait in a line for the bar to place your order then you go to a table and wait for any food. This is all fine - annoying, but fine. We followed the instructions but the bartender could not have been more of a jerk. When I started my order (a beer) he said NO! We don't have those. Not, hey I'm sorry that sign is wrong, just a rude ass NO! I am sure I looked at him half crazy. I just ordered the first thing I saw and then asked if they could change one of the tv's to the basketball game we wanted to watch. "We don't do that". Ok, so we again were disappointed but didn't say anything. They have several tv's around the bar but all were on the same channel watching surfing. We absolutely never had a server check on us. No water refills, napkins, etc and your interaction to check out and tip is only on the receipt so they have no need to check in with you. The only plus side is the open air 3rd story. It is a beautiful space with so much potential if they only staffed with cordial employees. Cannot blame staffing shortages as they had a wealth of servers and bartenders around. We were deeply disappointed in this location and the team there.
Maui brewing company was our go to Lunch spot while visiting Waikiki, Mahalo to Kai our server and the the brewmasters for the "big swell" IPA. The Ahi salad was delicious.
The service has changed for the worst! You don't get a dedicated server for your table. You have to flag down servers to re order food and drinks. Some of them (mostly the women) were really hustling and working hard. But then you have slackers who don't really care or want to be there.....trust me you'll know. One of the male servers was so rude, and he knew it, but didn't care to help us out. He seemed bothered that we would dare ask him for anything. He spent most of the time ignoring us once he knew were on to him. There are hard workers that deserved tips, and then there were people like him that don't deserve a penny! Won't be returning and I'm more then happy to let everyone I know to avoid this place. Spend your money where people deserve it!
Great location along Waikiki beach. Plenty of draught choices. Bartenders were very friendly with fast service. Highly recommend visiting here.
Have you ever had one of those events where the food was great, entertainment was exciting, and the service was beautiful. Check out MAUI BREWING COMPANY. I felt like I was at a massive party concert. I should know, my company and myself did It 2nights in a row.
You can skip the ordering line if you sit at the bar.
Overall, a nice roomy place to visit. Upstairs venue with some outdoor seating. No real social distancing followed but it was a somewhat open concept once outside. It seemed loud - likely due to the crowd in the building. I have been to many brewing locales and would have liked the ability to pre-select menu and drinks before approaching the order counter. It was a bit chaotic and slow mainly due to the variety of choices. Nothing against the staff but mainly the process. We had drinks and appetizers. There are plenty of brew choices including seasonal items. They make a nice mixed drink as well. As we left, entertainment was preparing to play. Prices are fair and reasonable.
