Great service, delicious ramen and gyoza! This place brought back fond memories of living in Fukuoka, known for their tonkotsu-style ramen. Noodles served firmer, Kurume/ Hakata-style :)Definitely try out the gyoza too. Quick to be served, this pairs nicely with a cold drink on a hot Hawai’i day!Lots of interesting gyoza and items to try out. I will be back soon!
The ramens were different, very flavorful , service was excellent, the gyoza is a must order item. As we were there for lunch on a weekday, it wasn't very crowded.
Overall a good place for ramen. Interior is nice and service is good. I got the manichi special and it tasted good, with good toppings and good noodle texture. Standard portion size but price is on the higher side for it. It was a nice experience but I probably won't become a regular.
Food is delicious, we’ve not been disappointed with any of the dishes we’ve ordered. I have to admit the Volcano Ramen dish and nacho gyozas are my favorite, I like spicy foods. Water is always served and we usually get the Asahi beer on tap is cold and refreshing. Service is fast and the staff very pleasant. It’s a small restaurant and that was the reason to try it the first time, reminds us of the ramen shops in Japan.
EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! And the food was great!!! The watercress salad was a great start, perfect and light and always love their dressing!! Was so good, I didn’t take a picture cause it went so fast!! Hahaha their ramen selection is WOW, hard decision but we decided with the Special tonkotu and miso butter corn from their specialty selection on the menu.. YUM!! And their gyoza deluxe? Hold onto your taste buds cause your first bite? Is just the beginning cause after the next few chews, you’ll taste new flavors - just from that same bite!! The toppings on the gyoza is a nice blend and invitation to a party in your mouth!! And did I say, EXCELLENT SERVICE?! Our guy was awesome, we had our drinks, our napkins and chopsticks - everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Didn’t have to ask for anything, and he was always polite when he would come by and check how we doing.. If only other restaurants could give great service like he does, that would be awesome!! And the tab? Affordable, they don’t rob you like other food places do. If you like ramen? Check this place out!! You will not be disappointed!!
February 2022:Stopped by for a quick lunch and had a really nice bowl of ramen. The broth was pretty rich and tasty. Good texture on the noodles! Char sui was cooked perfectly.All in all, I was very satisfied with my ramen! I would definitely come back again for more delicious ramen!
We had gift certificates so we decided to eat there, my wife wasn't too happy, I just like eating noodles, so I was satisfiedMy wife's Ramen wasn't tasty, it was just spicy. We are used to eating Ramen in Japan so the Ramen was different.
Their Ramen never disappoints. It is worth the price you pay it leaves you wanting more. Their appetizers are the perfect starters to the main show, that yummy bowl of Ramen. You'll eat everything down to the soup. The environment is down to earth and a perfect match to the bowl of yummiest. A modern flair yet traditional and authentic. Love it there.
Basil parmesan is sooo good! I highly recommend you to try this paired with ocean salad.Manichi special is good as well. Customer service is good in here, authentic Japanese service at its best!Enjoy juandering fellow Juanderers!
