We ordered the clam dish and told wait staff that a couple did not taste good. She took it away and didnât even have the courtesy to let us know what the kitchen said until we asked later on in our meal. She then said they were sold out and since the clams were new there wasnât anything she could do. No refund on the item. She gave us 1 complimentary sorbet (we had a party of 7). She was also not friendly and did not offer us dessert.
Food was good as usual. Waitress was flakey.
Came here to eat and food was too heavy in flavor. I could tell this is not authentic Thai food. Pad Thai was too sweet and wet/soggy in a way. Family and I barely ate it. Some other dishes were too sour. Only people who thinks food here is decent are people don’t really know what real Thai food taste like. The location in Hawaii Kai food taste better in my opinion.
I believe they don't want happy hour customers.
Food was bland. Panang curry was bland. âLoco Mocoâ chicken had no seasoning. The best dish was the Padseew.
Maile and her entire staff are extremely personable and friendly. The food is the best Thai Iâve had on the island. Definitely recommended.
Summer rolls were a nice treat for the table. Garlic shrimp was really lovely and the pad Thai was better than most. Service was a bit slow. Drinks didn't come until dinner arrived. Definitely want to return to explore more of the menu.
I waited for 30 minutes with the appetizer, and when I ordered without the requested vegetables, I received with vegetables. They cooked again and 15 minutes later, I received a roll with black hair that was remade. The correspondence was subtle ... ''It has hair'' after I told her further, She told me ''I just remade it''. ''What?'' Then I asked her to put it back only the roll with this hair. But the accounting was a little discounted only for the raw spring rolls. It's just a delicate restaurant that will never go again. That's why this restaurant is vacant at lunch time. ã¢ãã¿ã¤ã¶ã¼ã«30åå¾ ã£ã¦ããªã¯ã¨ã¹ãããéèæãã§ãªã¼ãã¼ãããéèãããå±ãã¦ãããã«15åå¾ãä½ãç´ãã¦ããã£ããã®ã髪ã®æ¯å ¥ãã®ãã¼ã«ãå±ããã対å¿ã¯ã¡ãã¼å¾®å¦ã 髪ã®æ¯å ¥ããªãã§ããã©ã¨ããã«ä¼ãããã ä»ä½ãç´ããã°ãããªãã ãã©ãã¨è¨ãããã ãï¼ ããããã®é«ªã®æ¯å ¥ãã§å·»ããããã¼ã«ã ãæã£ã¦ãã£ã¦ããã£ã¦é ¼ãã ãã©ãä¼è¨ã¯çæ¥å·»ãã ããå°ãå²å¼ããããã©ã ã¡ãã£ã¨ãã2度ã¨ãããªãã ããã¨ããå¾®å¦ãªã¬ã¹ãã©ã³ã§ãããªãã ãåºã¯ã©ã³ãã¿ã¤ã ã§ã¬ã©ã¬ã©ã ãªã¼ãã³ãã¼ãã«ã¯ãã¤ã§ãäºç´å¯è½ãªçç±ã§ãã
Maile's has the most delicious food at very reasonable prices. It is a true gem of a restaurant. The bar service is outstanding with many craft cocktails available as well as standard favorites. All service, both bar and table, was attentive and prompt. The curries are prepared perfectly and you receive an ample amount. I recommend pairing with the sticky rice. Our edamame appetizer was well seasoned and plenty for the four of us. I highly recommend giving Maile's a try and confident you will become a return customer if lucky enough to visit Oahu regularly!
I ordered take out.1.) Green curry lacked flavor.2.) Best peanut sauce I’ve ever had on summer rolls though!3.) Pad Thai was flavorful and a huge portion, but the amount of protein you get is very small.4.) The Thai iced tea I got was in what I can only describe as a child’s cup.5.) My side of jasmine rice was very small, NOT packed to the brim like the pad Thai and definitely not enough for all the green curry.I was definitely disappointed in the super lacking flavor green curry but I will try some other dishes still since it is a very cute place and most of the flavors were good in the other dishes.
