Some of the best quality fish I’ve ever had. Was recommended this place and it did not disappoint. A bountiful selection of really fresh seafood, pulled out of the water that very morning. The steamed clams were divine, the pokes delicious in their own right but the fatty tuna/uni was exceptional. Amazing amazing stuff. Definitely worth the effort to seek this mythical place out. A fantastic bang for you buck eatery located in a vibrant Chinatown market.Dos sushi’s up ??
Ordered the hamachi poke bowl, flavor was very good and the portion is the right size, not too much rice compare to other stores.
The maguro brothers by Waikiki was closed so my family and I Uber down to Chinatown. The sashimi was super fresh and the sushi rice was super yummy! We tried the bluefin toro and really loved the texture of the tuna.We spend around $52 for the two items and got a sugar cane juice at mickey’s near by.
This was my first poke experience when I landed. Highly rated and well worth it driving into Chinatown. My cousins and I ordered the ume & shio, mix maguro donburi, chutoro & shoyu and the king salmon combo with a side of uni. Wow everything here was so fresh and buttery. Prices are reasonable. The fish to rice ratio is perfect. Speaking with one of the chefs they get their ingredients locally or through Japan every other day. Its a small location located in a small indoor shopping center with plenty of other food vendors. Lines here are pretty small and they prep your food really quickly. I am really pick with my sushi. The tuna, salmon and uni were definitely fresh. My cousins and I kept talking about Maguro being our favorites. There is outdoor dining right in the center of the shopping center. Parking is limited to street or garage parking. Highly recommend this place if you want qualify poke and better cuts of fish.
Giving 4 stars because i gave 5 stars to the location in waikiki and this one was slightly inferior, even though delicious. My favorite was the hamachi and salmon. We had the chu-toro tuna - the fatty sinews were tough to chew and stuck in our teeth. Beware that the spicy there is pretty Hot compared to most spicy standard.
This chain has two places: one in Chinatown and one in Waikiki. We tried the Waikiki location for dinner. It is a little place and only orders to go since there is no indoor seating (I saw people stood outside and eat). The restaurant only opens from 5:40 pm to 8 pm. We came around 5:30 pm and the line was short. We spent 20 minutes between waiting in line and picking up our food. We ate at the International building from the other side of the Main Street. The sashimi was so fresh and delicious. It was really amazing so we went back in line to order the second round. This time we had to wait in line longer and it took us 40 min to get our food!!! Here are my tips: 1. Come early before 5:30 pm to avoid waiting in long line 2. Pay extra for ginger as they only give a little bit with your order 3. Besides sashimi, try the poke too
Wait time was a little longer but you can go shop or look around on the mean time. Food was fresh and delicious we had two visit twice on our trip. I think prices were actually on the cheaper side for some great sushi!

Very fresh fish, I had lean and fatty tuna. A little expensive for the portion but tasty none the less. I recommend grabbing a main dish from Maguro Bros and getting some sides from some of the surrounding stalls.
The best poke in Chinatown! Fish is super fresh and tasty. Expect to wait 10-15 min if you’re going around lunch.
