Magnolia is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I totally love their exotic tropical flavors in their very thick and rich ice cream. Plus, they have Halo Halo which I much rather have over Hawaiian style shave ice along with other Filipino inspired desserts. If you order a Halo Halo or one of their other hand prepared treats, give it time. It isn't like just scooping ice cream and handing it to you, but it's well worth the wait in the end. Full of different flavors and textures, it will blow your taste buds away. I love hunting for the different beans and jelly that are added in the mix. As it is a layered cold treat, every bite could be different and as you mix it up it changes as well.I also tried their Jackfruit and Coconut with Pandan ice cream. Both were fantastic and the little bits of fruit mixed in to the ice cream added for an extra enjoyable surprise. This is a perfect after meal or hot day refresher place to go if you want something different, so go check them out!

Ice cream is always creamy and delicious. To visit here, I recommend that you try "halo-halo". I hope servers are more knowledgeable about the variety of ice cream flavors. I was watching them serve an african-american woman and the server could not explain how one flavor is like. She said, I work here but I don't try the ice cream which to me is a big "no." Servers need to promote the product well by heart so customers will then end up promoting "Filipino brand dessert". But, yes, Magnolia ice cream is yours to try!

it was so great and cooling for a humid day. Kids loved it. adults loved it. fresh cut fruit and ice cream and toppings like boba or jelly. and shaved ice layer too.

A Filipino ice cream. Is this something you would care to experience in Hawaii? I guess it may be not something that comes off of your head immediately but this is worth a try. It's located in international marketplace and is at 2nd floor (same floor as Mitsuwa). The Uber and guava flavor are must. I wish there's taro flavor but it wasn't there. If there is one, I'd like to try.

We had the 3 ice cream sliders! Super good, staff are nice.

Magnolia Ice Cream is a very bright spot in a dim corner of the International Market where almost nothing else exist. The variety of flavors is great. I love the decorated walls with palms and while sitting on bright orange chair I felt like child having fun! You could pickup more chairs from a stocking tower so there will plenty room to sit down. I had Ube and Jackfruit and they were so good! I’d definitely recommend this spot.

Very good food! Prices are good. The flavors are very different than what us "mainlanders" usually come across, but take a chance and try them. You won't be sorry.I would highly recommend the slider version. It is fantastic!

Lots of Halo Halo and other products! They have Jenga and other games to play while you're there. Shaved ice flavoring has some variety, and if you find the right timing, you can breeze through a line and get those treats.

Halo halo is a must. I loved their ube flavor. Highly recommend.

Was really surprised that the International Market Place had a Magnolia Ice Cream similar to the popular joint in the Philippines, but was pretty disappointed at the service provided.First for the negatives: Google said this place closed at 9pm, but due to Covid the staff had a sign posted on the door saying they closed at 8:30pm. This is understandable. What's not understandable and down right inappropriate was how rudely the staff shut out customers. My family and I entered the shop close to closing time, around 8:15. We were able to place our order and we were barely able to enjoy our Halo Halos for 5 minutes before the staff started turning off the lights and forcing us and another family out the door. I'm sorry, but according to American regulations there are mandatory steps to clean a shop prior to closing. The staff literally followed us out the door and locked up shop.As far as the positives go, the Ube Macapuno ice cream flavor was decent. The strings of Macapuno (coconut) was nice, but the ube flavor was only mild. The Halo Halo was good, and thankfully they were able to remove the beans.I wouldn't recommend coming here close to closing time, or better yet I don't think I'll ever return.
