Wow! Not only does this place have a hilarious name, if you understand Latin American culture but this is by far the BEST samitch on the island! Why go to Jersey mikes and shell out $20 when for half that you could get a proper samitch that would impress a person who grew up with NY delis. Keep up the good work!…and put your machete away.
Overall a decent sandwich place. The ingredients seem fresh and the sandwiches they make are tasty, big, and reasonably priced. Depending on the day, service can be on the slower side however.
Delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices, made quickly and correctly. It's not much to look at, but all you care about here is the food.
Sandwiches were very fresh and delivered on time. Would definitely order from here again
Great sandwiches and fresh baked bread
Best and meanest sandwiches. You have to be real hungry to be able to finish the MACHETE special in one sitting.
Someone below said they aren't here anymore. That is NOT true. I ate there yesterday, May 15, 2021. They're still as good as ever.
This place is out of business why is it still shown here open now it a pho restaurant
I just had a very good Italian sandwich!
Bro, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better sandwich. I saw it on Uber Eats and thought, “what the hell; let’s give it a shot. The reviews look good.”I picked it up from the tiny shop outside Waikiki and the smell of bread was delicious. I got my sandwich and ate it at the beach. I got The Machete—turkey, pastrami, ham, salami and cheddar cheese on crack wheat bread. The bread is THICK and fresh. The fillings were also thick. I’m a guy that likes to eat a lot, and for $13.95 this was a deal. I’m so impressed that I will be back and tell all my friends about it. Mahalo.
