Had high expectations considering all the high reviews. The food was mediocre at best. We got the premium course and it wasn’t anything special. Most of the food beside the nabe is room temperature or cold . Value wise, this wasn’t worth it. It was a lot of food but the quality was not up to par.

Food and service were 4-5 stars. But I think the food is over-priced. 2/3 of the current price should be reasonable.
I used it for Mother's Day dinner. It was a course menu, but I felt it was a little high price ranges. Probably the price increase due to the coronavirus. It was very good though the service of the restaurant was crowded. The hard work of the restaurant staff has been transmitted The course was very delicious. Enjoyed wagyu beef, lobster and yellowtail

A very pleasant experience, if you’re looking for quality and authentic Japanese hot pot and gyutan (beef tongue) then this is the place. They also have a lovely sake selection as well. It was our first time there, we were celebrating a 27th birthday, and were not sure on which certain items to get but thankfully the staff is very knowledgeable and made some wonderful suggestions. I also suggest checking out their menu before hand. We decided on the 10-Course which was brought out 1 at a time meaning once a plate is finished they will bring out the next right after. Also had the mentaiko and gyutan katsu, very proper and high end at a reasonable price. 10/10 Recommend ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
10-Course is delicious, delightful and a great value. One of our servers was a bit distracted, so I feel service wasn’t as stellar as usual but that aside, definitely a great experience.
The food, ambiance and service reminded us of eating in Tokyo/Hokkaido. Each dish was presented to the table with care and our wonderful waitress explained how each item should be cooked and which elegant salt was recommended to enhance the flavor. We raved about our experience to our friends and family and we will definitely return. Thank-you Ichifuji for giving us a touch/taste of Japan!!
