No words for the deliciousness of the hot golden “donuts.” We arrived at 6:45am on a Monday and had to wait in line for 20 minutes! Parking is really limited but definitely worth it. A local friend had recommended Leonard’s and I’m so glad we stopped!

My husband and I visited this spot during our vacation after my best friend recommended it. We went around 10:30ish and the line was already wrapping around the building. We waited roughly 30 mins but it was definitely worth the wait! We got the flavors: original, cinnamon, and stuffed with chocolate. I love anything stuffed with chocolate but this was more of a pudding consistency and wasn't feeling it too much. But, the others were AMAZING! Definitely recommend this spot to whoever is passing by and wants to try something sweet in the area.

Go early! Line’s extra long after 8 am. The malasadas are best eaten hot! Tried the macadamia, original, guava, chocolate, & coconut! The coconut filled hit the spot!

Worth waiting in line for hot malasadas at the bakery! But if you don't want to wait go to one of the Leonard's bakery food trucks. We went did both during our vacation. We are addicted to the stuffed malasadas!!

Was in town for an early morning meeting and saw no line while driving by, so we looped around the block and made a quick in and out order. Guava and regular custard for us. Of course they were amazing. A real treat, as this was not a planned stop.

I went here during another tour with the tour guide and I swear these malasadas were so good! If you’re ever visiting Waikiki this place is a must have!

OK, so you have to wait for your malasadas. Why? Its because they make them to order and they are served hot. The malasadas we had elsewhere were good, but Leonards are great. Definitely worth stopping by. One suggestion is only get what you can eat, I was told by a tour guide that they are not as good left over. I imagine that there are no preservatives.

The experience is worth the wait in line. While not good for the waist line the food is decadent and fresh. The flavors and taste unforgettable

Long lines for malasadas. Haupia malasadas are a bit tart, custard is best! If you want to wait 20+ minutes for malasadas, this is it! Has a food truck north of Waikiki with less of a wait, or go to Pipeline- better bakery and malasadas

Really good pastries that live up to the hype. Crispy on the outside and light fluffy on the inside. Definitely recommend getting a mix of the original and the puff fillings. Two per person is plenty to fill you up. Eating them hot and fresh makes it so much better! Line was wrapped around the building but moved super fast. If the parking lot is full, we noticed a couple families park across the street at the Safeway.
