How anyone can give less than five stars I have no clue. Went here twice on my trip. These are just so amazingly delicious when they are piping hot. I over ordered because I didn't realize how big they were. The original flavor is the best in my opinion and I tried them all.

Just so people know, there’s a Leonard’s malasada truck AND an actual brick-and-mortar Leonard’s bakery. See, I didn’t know that but it doesn’t mean the malasada didn’t taste good. Would there have been more options at the physical location? Probably. I ordered 3 of whatever they had on the truck menu. BIG MISTAKE. The malasadas are made fresh so they’re hot. Unless you plan to eat it as you buy it, don’t buy large quantities at once. They don’t taste good if they’re not hot and toasty. Otherwise, my preference were the ones with filling. I didn’t like the coconut filling too much, and the chocolate filled ones were weak, but the custard filled ones did not disappoint. The way they taste almost resembles a mochi donut if you’ve ever tried. Just has flavors you can taste.

There was a short line as expected, but warm malasadas are tasty (if you're off the diet for this week!) They did mess up our order which was disappointing (what? No coconut filling!) but we weren't going to hang around to straighten it out.

Amazing, hot and fresh! My wife and I grabbed some custard filled Malasadas covered with cinnamon sugar, a perfect snack just before going up Koko Crater.

The fact that people mere minutes away at the orignial Leonard's wait hours for these bakery items is insane to me. We walked up to the truck, ordered and had our hot, fresh malasadas in two minutes. They are pretty good! I am happy we got to try them. If I had waited more than a few minutes I would have been disappointed. This is the only way to do this.

These are some delicious pastries! The dough is soft and warm and there are a variety of sugar topping and filling options. We tried the original, one with coconut filling and one with sweet & spicy sugar which tasted like Mexican candy. 10/10 would get again.

Legendary baked goods. Malasadas are basically doughnuts (some might not agree) but they come regular or filled(puffs) in a box. I went to the food truck version so all the flavors weren’t available such as the macadamia but what I got was good. My favorites in order was the haupia (coconut), chocolate, custard and regular cinnamon. Definitely worth the visit if you have a sweet tooth but plan accordingly because lines tend to be long.Dos thumbs up ??

This location is by far the quickest. You pretty much walk up, pay, and take your heavenly malasadas in one swoop. But they aren’t quite as fresh. But still amazing!

Great hot doughnuts. Lines are long but worth every minute?

Delicious warm bread the original was my favorite
