I always stay at this Hilton when I travel to the island and spent many night hanging out at the lobby bar with the bartenders Massimo and J. This trip wasn’t the same without them behind the bar. I just felt like the service wasn’t as great, I don’t know if it was just getting in the swing of things after opening from COVID, but hopefully next time I’m back it’ll be back to the good times!
We enjoyed cocktails and appetizers here on Monday night. The cocktail server was so attentive and the live entertainment was good. I won't lie it is pricey, but it was raining and we didn't feel like going out so was nice to have a place to relax, eat and enjoy our company.
Great live music and drinks
Great place to sit for a drink, very nice option for one of the 4 happy hours! They also have nightly live music but we never had a chance to go down for them!
Great drinks, food and conversation! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the bartenders and regulars. Music at 6 or 7. Entertaining! Beautiful trade winds thru lobby!
Stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Beach for a week on a recent holiday. One afternoon decided to go to Happy Hour at the LBLE Lounge which is between 5 and 7pm in the complex. Upon ordering drinks at the bar on this particular day, and being the only person at the bar to be served, had to wait on two occasions while two female staff just kept talking away to themselves until it suited one to ask me for my drink order. And, on overhearing their conversation, they were not discussing other patrons drink or food orders. We ordered a glass of sauv blanc $10, a glass of chardonnay $7.50 and two 20oz Kona Longboard lagers $7.50 each. Not really a lot off the regular prices when there is no Happy Hour. We did not partake in ordering any food which is available. All hotels nearby have a Happy Hour each day, and we availed ourselves in visiting their premises for the rest of our holiday.
If you are a hotel with higher priced drinks, the service should match the environment. I don't mind paying extra when the service matches it.
Staff is always nice and drinks are good. They have live music most nights, either one person with a guitar or 2-3 people. The music is a step above elevator music and you can talk during it. A good place to start the evening. I do wish they had outdoor seating.
Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the bar and the live music. Ask for the bartender Omar - he is a nicest man around!
