I arrived within 5 minutes of their closing time and feared I wouldn't be able to order but they friendly staff didn't deny me service.I order the Curry Katsu for take out and it was amazing. It's the first time I've tried it and it was delicious. The food was still hot when I arrived to my hotel room and the katsu was crispy when I ate it. Location is convenitly located right around the corner form the Best Western where I stayed.Friendly staff, delicious food and huge portions for the low price. 5 stars!
This is the worst L&L I ever been, I'm from Washington they do better than this but it in Hawaii, disappointed my wife food wasn't cook all the way she work for the Health department and food taste raw rice wasn't cook all the way thang I don't know what happening but just not what I expected from one of my favorite place to go, musubi rice was not good. Hope this will get fixed.
Reasonably priced for the amount of food. As others have mentioned, some meals can feed 2 people. Food is tasty. I really like the rice. The meat is a little more on the fatty side though. I understand some people like it that way but I always cut the fat off meat before eating it. Luckily it was well marinated so even the fat had nice flavors.
Stop here before your flight and get a plate lunch to go. Ask for extra sauce and you are good to go. If you need a reliable plate lunch with some scrumptious Mac salad, this is your place. There is something to be said about good comfort food.
So good. Garlic shrimp and mochiko chicken. Mini mochiko was like 9$ for a plate. Very good dealWalking distance from airport (terminal 2 ) as long as you're still outside security. Just follow Google. I wouldn't recommend walking from the rental center ground level, walking on roads basically.
Ordered the spam and egg sandwich for breakfast. It was really greasy and the bread was not toasted so the whole sandwich fell apart in my hands.
The garlic fish is amazing. Please go here and try it.
If your starving after you land in Honolulu Hawaii go here! It's very close to the airport and they are fast and nice. I ordered the Luau Pork Plate and it HIT THE SPOT! Take Away only as of 11/15/21
This is a trusted local chain that will satisfy. Local staples such as the loco moco or garlic shrimps are my go to selections but they offer way more than that. Unfortunately during COVID times this branch only offer takeout. Regardless, this place is close to the airport and I can indulge on my favorite platter before I return my rental and fly back home.
Really great for no frill Hawaiian fast food. It's nothing gourmet but it's damn good for a quick bite! Even my picky toddler enjoyed the chicken Katsu.
