We randomly passed by this place during our morning stroll. We already had breakfast, but saw a sign for fried bananas and wanted to give it a try. So glad that we did. Our hotel was across the street, so we came back the next morning for breakfast. We had the fried banana with condensed milk twice. Their taro frappe is excellent and the mochi donut, condense milk donut, and twisted crunch were all delicious.
BEST GLUTEN FREE / DAIRY FREE DONUTS EVER! I haven't had malasadas in years and this was the closest thing to them. Highly recommend this place for any gluten-free dairy-free foodie looking for malasadas or just a good jelly filled donut!
I was looking forward to trying fresh baked donuts near The Ilikai where I own a condo and visit often. In March 2022 I bought 2 glazed style chocolate iced donuts and they were a total disappointment. Chewy, not at all the melt-in-your-mouth style that Krispy Kream glazed donuts are. Shop didn’t have any cake style donuts at all. Did have some ball shaped donuts that worker said could be filled with a variety of fillings but I didn’t try those. I threw away my 2nd donut after barely tolerating chewing my 1st. This bakery needs to change their cooking method or recipe to improve the finished donuts! Plus they were overpriced.
Cute donut place to pick up donuts and head to the beach. We just had the plain glazed and cinnamon sugar. Both good. Interesting inside with writing all over the walls.
Had the condensed milk donut.... Amazing. Tried the red bean volcano donut.... Even more amazing! Shaved ice was good. Smoothies were okay, more of a slushy texture.
Love this place! We came 5 or more times during our trip and will be back if and when we are back in the area. Davie who works the front is the best too! Try this place! The banana rebirth and twister crunch with cinnamon sugar are our favs!
Nice little place behind the Hilton in Waikiki beach. Friendly staff. Only open from 7-noon. Right below the Goofy cafe and dine and next to the Lucky shop. You can eat inside or sit out side.
February 2022:Was excited to try these Donuts! Ordered a red bean and a cream filled donut ?. The lady and the man who worked there were really nice.Overall, they were both good. Slightly on the greasy side as the brown bag got a little grease stain while walking to get coffee. Would I get them again? Maybe.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was out of my comfort zone but I wish I would have tried more. The filled donut balls are just perfect. The staff was super friendly and the shop is adorable. I can’t wait to go again and try more.
