My wife and I just had a Regular box lunch here...The food was tasty, and since we are vegetarians, there were atleast 5 good options for entrees. Small boutique place seating is outside, if you'd like to sit or you can take out. Parking on the streets or in the parking garage between Bishop, Hotel &Alakea st. Definitely worth eating, if you are craving for a home cooked meal...

They charge extra for using card (debit/credit). The curry varies between a lot or very little. Inconsistent

Wow!!! So delicious! I stopped in during lunch hours for vegan options. She recommended the chana masala which had delicious lentil ball with a side of yellow rice. Really nice family working there and the vegan options are amazing! Highly recommend.

As in takeout Indian, this is a go-to place since my 90s years when I was in tourist industry. Only drawback is that the parking is not readily available and in--front illegal street parking is at your own risk. The parking lot behind HT is 20 per hour.

I’ve never been disappointed by Komala Curry House. Been going to them for yeaaars.

If you are in the mood for some great Indian curry in a hurry and in the downtown Honolulu area, you have got to check this place out. The food is just amazing. So fresh and full of flavors.

Don't worry if you are not a fan of hot food, they do have mild curries to choose from. Also, being Indian food, there are lots of vegetarian options for those living on a plant based diet. For me, it has got to have meat and be spicy. I zeroed in on the Pepper Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala. Wow, both were over the top with great spices and preparation. The yellow rice was a nice compliment for the curries, but if you want brown rice, they got that as well. They have a few other items other then curry to complete or make your meal and I really enjoyed my homemade Ginger Lemonade that I got to wash down the spice with. Really was perfect to cleanse the palate after such a flavor extravaganza. If you need to get your Indian curry fix on, I really recommend this place.

One of the worst indian food I have ever tried. Deserves 0 star. If you want to make fun of a cuisine, learn from them.
