Good food but overpriced. There’s absolutely nothing necessarily wrong with the food here. The plates just fail to live up to the price in both taste and portion. Not the best, not the worst but for an above average price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good but can come off as gimmicky. It feels like slightly better executed theme park food.

It just wasn’t what I expected especially after the good reviews. Didn’t wow me at all. I also understand how Covid has impacted small businesses but a 5% service charge for their kitchen staff is a little crazy on top of tipping. We are supporting your business by spending $100 on brunch. Patrons shouldn’t be responsible for paying your staff.

Still after 8 years since we first experienced this place it is one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The flavors make sense and the quality food is always noticed and appreciated. Try just about anything on the menu and you will be happy but my favorites are ohayou egg skillet, volcano egg skillet, and the poke omelette. It is all ono and worth the visit.

The Koko Head cafe has great food! The dumplings all day wong are great starter and change daily. The gnocchi with fish was excellent.I was really impressed by the drinks and the pastry's! The cinnamon roll was the best I've ever tasted and the crème puff was decadent and yummy! The cooking staff really loves their art and it shows!I wanted to try the whole menu, but I'll have to wait until next time!

Prepare for divergence from the norm here. This place is massively OVERHYPED and may have given me minor food poisoning. The eggs were undercooked and bland, the price to value ratio was way off, and the overall quality of table, chair, water glass, plate… it all felt so 1990s cafeteria… I just don’t understand how this place is so popular! There are way better restaurants even within walking distance so skip the wait and go there instead.I think a few stand out dishes that we accidentally missed might distract you from the overall lack of quality on the main staples, but by all means you don’t have to eat here to prove me wrong. They’re truly suffering from too much success and it was very weird. We waited a half hour to sit when there were clearly plenty of open tables and staff just milling around. The decor was fine overall, nothing special. But we came for food, we could look by the rest if the food was amazing. It’s just… not. It’s quite mediocre and cooked/served without any real care or passion at this point. I’m guessing it used to be better and that’s where the hype came from?If you want great brunch, check out Farmhouse cafe, or my god take the trip 20 mins into the city proper and hit up Podmore; they’re legendary and the same price! It’s like 10x better food. Just my two cents.

Brunch is not to be missed. Get here early cause everyone wants to eat at this jewel. Chef Wong is a major player in the culinary world. Paid her dues in many top restaurants and was in Top Chef. But it’s the food that brings in the hordes of foodies.Pictured is the Ohayou eggs, hash browns and “Samoa” donut. Best breakfast ever.

So glad we ventured away from Waikiki and made it here for brunch. Definitely recommend joining the wait-list before going, but so worth it. Everything we had was delicious and the guava juice was refreshing. Would definitely recommend!

as an Aussie, their latte is awesome. friendly staff and excellent quality food. highly recommended

The food was amazing and delicious. Go on the Yelp app to put your name on the waitlist I'm glad that I did.

This breakfast spot is absolutely amazing if you want Asian fusion breakfast options. My wife and I tried a number of things that were all good if not amazing. They have a lot of daily specials, so not sure if these items will be repeated. Okonomi Scone, pork & cabbage dumplings, loco moco, and fruity rusk. The scone had all the okonomi fixings, definitely a different experience but it was tasty, dumplings were good but I was kind of expecting soup dumplings like from dim sum otherwise it was tasty. Their take on loco moco was probably the best one I had on the trip, they had deep fried kimchi which was very different but I guess they just made kimchi crunchier. The fruit rusk my wife had was really tasty, we have never had a rusk before but it was like a macaroon sort of thing. It was very tasty.Wish we had more time, we would go back for certain!
