Very kind staff, very good food, The Island Fries appetizer is the best fries we have had anywhere in the world so far. The Fish in the Entree menu is excellent (if you want it well done, ask for it explicitly), so is the shrimp. Of course, when it gets to food, reviews are highly personalized and opinionated. We asked the owner, he said all fish and shrimp in the menu are local, which is superb. You would not want to eat imported sea food in Hawaii. The garden view is fantastic and Hawaiian style. The place is quiet, and satisfactorily clean. All tables are outdoors in the backyard of a hotel (and so rather hard to find with a map alone. You can ask the lobby receptionist for direections). No alcohol served here, which we couldn't care less.

Ko Tiki Terrace is a currently a byob (plenty of abc stores nearby) establishment and a real hidden gem, several choices and all very tasty and filling, well worth a visit

Love this place, nothing special about food but there is a great atmosphere, friendly stuff and reasonable prices too. I came here with intention to grab something to eat on the go but stayed there for good hour. You have to go trough the lobby to get in, it's not visible from the street

We wanted to try out this little poolside restaurant after seeing the reviews! Amber was our welcoming server and she did everything possible to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It is a BYOB (for now) and we weren’t really sure how that worked, so we came with our own rum. We ordered a carafe of pineapple guava juice ($18) and were given ice and coconut shell mugs. We poured out own drinks and it was great! (If you love tiki drinks, this is a ‘Lei Lani Volcano’ and you would pay a lot of money for these cocktails.) We also ordered a tall glass of mango/calamansi fruit juice for $7. You can also order soft drinks and any other mixes for the booze you bring. I ordered the garlic shrimp and onion rings, and my husband got the steak, salad and French fries. The food was delicious, with enough to take home for leftovers. We were too full for any more drinks or ice cream. The bill was about $75 before the tip. We also took pictures in the beautiful garden and the pool. There were people swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub, but they were very mellow and it did not detract from the evening at all. The furnishings are beautiful and the garden is lush. It really felt like you were in a tropical oasis, despite being in the middle of Waikiki! A tiny baby gecko jumped out of one of the trees and landed on my shoulder. It’s good luck!! We will be back. We had a wonderful time!

Oh my goodness! Thus hidden little outdoor oasis was our favorite dinner spot of this trip! Off the main strip this garden tiki treasure was not busy at all on the Wednesday evening we stopped in. Savannah was our server and she was fabulous! We had read it was BYOB before coming so we were aware of that, but she explained this to us before we were seated so that we were in the know. They have been working toward their liquor license but have not yet gotten it but knowing this we had stopped for Mai tais before stopping in. Savannah brought us water and we asked for a Pepsi and Diet Pepsi while we liked over the simple menu. We were interested in the fries with their special sauce and also the spring rolls so Savannah suggested the sampler platter (not listed on the menu) with a little of everything. We went with it - onion rings, fries, spring rolls and sausage. The sauces were amazing - a spicy Mayo type sauce, a raw whole mustard seed sauce that was a little vinegary, and a sweet red chili flake sauce. For our maIn course we ordered the shrimp bowl on rice with garlic sauce and the poke bowl over rice with a special kimchee sauce. The bowls came with the rice, protein, sauce and done greens mixed in and were so filling and delicious! We were filled up after the platter and bowls, but the ice cream was strongly recommended so we shared a bowl and were not sorry. It was a purple sweet potato ice cream called ube. It was so creamy and smooth and delicious. We loved the atmosphere - near the pool with perfect lighting and music. Great hidden gem! We will remember this place and share with friends visiting Oahu!

Outdoor restaurant at a hotel, where you can eat on the patio around their pool. The fish bowl was good, which was served with seared tuna.

Truly just a fun spot to hang out with friends after a day at the beach and enjoy the chill vibe and the cool pool... My beautiful wife called the place the Blue lagoon. It's just fine and the food is absolutely wonderful. FYI they currently do not serve liquor so BYOB. I'm pretty sure that's why my wife liked it so much.

The definition of a hidden gem ?It’s really easy to miss, since it’s located next to a small hotel pool, and the entrance is through the hotel lobby, but boy am I happy that I found it!The food is great, and the fries might be the best fries I’ve had in my life, definitely the best I’ve had in the last few years (I think they air fry them for the second fry, but can’t know for certain). The food is not cheap, but it’s on par with the area, and the portions are large. As of late January 2022, they still haven’t received their liquor license, so there is a BYOB policy in place (no glass bottles), that can either make or break the whole experience, depending on what you are looking for. Personally, I enjoyed it.And to top it off the service was also great! Highly recommend!

We happened across this gem as guests of the Aqua Bamboo hotel. Would come back just for this place! The most delicious garlic sauce on fish, shrimp, steak and other proteins. Great French fries. Service was excellent. Liz, Amber, and Isla were above and beyond!

The food here is great especially the steak with the garlic sauce!!? The servers are very nice! I just wish that they will expand their menu more... Also, Bamboo hotel guest get 10% off.
