We stayed at the hotel next door and walked here every morning to get espressos. We tried a few other places but this place was hands down the best flavor and nicest staff. They also have a great seating area to relax and enjoy the views while enjoying your coffee.
Staff is always friendly. Service is consistently quick, even when they have a long line during the morning rush. They get my drink order correct every time. The breakfast burrito is bomb. They go quickly and sometimes restocking takes a day. Get it while it’s there ;)I wanted to try a new kind of coffee drink and the guy behind the counter helped describe different types of drinks and provided suggestions based on the types of drinks I usually get.
The unprofessionalism of the man that appears to be the manager here is disappointing. Customers seem to be a huge inconvenience to their personal conversations. Not only that but telling your employees about the person you interviewed yesterday is not appropriate. The person that you interviewed wanted more money than you make? That’s because they’re worth more than you. Grow up some.Coffee was whatever. Service was garbage.
Great place to get coffee in the morning, the staff is very friendly and courteous. The best thing about this place they have a $40 a month membership that allows you to get any 12oz latte a day and $1 for any additional drinks that day. That’s an incredible deal ?
Horrible Terrible The Rudest! These two girls messed up my order and never apologized. Instead of them, the guy manager looked like said sorry to me but they didn’t care about that.First, the girls made a mistake of my order and overcharged me. The Kamaaina discount was processed in weird and lower way.And then, they didn’t give me a coffee even after 30mins. I was finishing the food already at the time.Too much ice cube and too watery cup.The food was too small and cold. It was ridiculously overpriced. When I asked the girls why my beverage order is so late, she pretended that she is busy and never apologized. Instead of that, the girls hided in the back and the guy manager apologized me.The Asian girl wearing glasses dropped the coffee cup but surprisingly she kept using the dirty cup and gave the another customer. She was touching her face and hair without washing her hands before she retouches the food and beverages. The white girl said she was going to give me something on side but she forgot and messed up everything. The terrible girls should’ve apologized me.This location is really good and I wanted to come back for the place but I do not want to come back because of their silly attitude.
I lived in Seattle for 7 months and this place is definitely on my list of best coffee places I’ve been to. I got the iced oat milk macadamia but latte and it was amazing. I have gone back every day since being in Honolulu.
We stopped at Knot's early in the morning before hiking Diamond Head. My husband and I order the same coffees wherever we go so we can be a good judge of what we like. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and my husband ordered a hot vanilla latte. We also shared a pre-packaged breakfast burrito that they heated up for us. We can only speak to their morning offerings on food, but everything was pre-packaged in a refrigerator off to the side of the register where you order. I don't think they make anything fresh. At least that was the case during our visit in March 2022. The coffee itself wasn't anything to brag about in comparison to other lattes we've had while in Hawaii. Coffee in Hawaii does have a unique flavor that we did enjoy. The aesthetic of this coffee shop is adorable. Plenty of seating. The shop itself is located inside a hotel, right along Waikiki Beach. Can't say much about the service. I read some other reviews by others, and it seems that service is consistently subpar. We had a quick in and out experience, so I can't speak to those who stuck around or tried to order fresh food. Hopefully the end of the pandemic will help with customer service and fresh made food options.
This place doesn't have a breakfast menu like the pictures show. They have a couple items in the refrigerator that they'll warm up for you, in addition to some pricey yogurt and fruit, but that's about it. Coffee drinks are decent though. I wouldn't go out of your way for it, but it's a quick stop.

Ordered a bag of coffee beans through their online store. No coffee was ever sent, no responses to my requests for updates via email and social media. If you aren't prepared to fulfill orders (or at least communicate with your customers) maybe don't open an online store?
