Best beef Jerky I found in Hawaii..I prefer the Pipikalua Beef Jerky!. Very nice owners. Poke is awesome too! I just wish they had a phone so you could call and see if they are open. They sometimes close waley when they run out.
My SO and I popped in to try some poke and peppered ahi jerky. The staff was very kind and patient with us as we tried to decide what we wanted, as it was our first time there. They also threw in some complimentary ahi-topped inarizushi (poke bombs) when we mentioned we were tourists!Everything was delicious, and we both agreed it was the best poke we had on our trip. The ahi jerky was a little on the fishy side for him, but I thought it was fantastic and wish I had gotten more.Highly recommend!

Excellent ahi poke in both freshness and flavor. I confess that I'm biased towards ginger as a flavor, so the ginger poke here is a real treat. A bowl seems to be about half a pound of poke with a large scoop of rice topped with furikake for $10.99, which is reasonable.
My son and his wife flew in for a visit from the mainland. His first request from the airport is always to satisfy his Poke fix. Obviously, Oahu has an abundance of poke shops to satisfy everyone’s taste. This was his first visit to Kahiau and they hit it out of the park! If you’re looking for a gluten-free option, try there ginger onion version. They’re dried Aku is amazing as well. The best thing about them is the staff. In today’s hectic time, it’s nice to see a smiling face and hear a Mahalo for coming! Get there before 2pm (closing time).
