Ichiriki is simply a delight to eat at every time. While it seems like the meat selection would be the highlight, every time I am blown away by how flavorful the broth is. When your base is so delicious, anything you come here for is going to be fantastic.

It was my second time eating here. The food was delicious although a little bit expensive. Regardless, I think it is at a good price. I would recommend others to dine here. The waiters and waitresses seemed a bit busy but were very nice. There is a military discount here. There are vegan options available.

Came here for dinner but the place smell. Wasn’t sure what it was probably cleaning solution that was really strong. Food was good. Not too crowded if you come before 5pm.

More of a traditional restaurant, good customer service and the food was good. It can be challenge getting in and out of the seating position!

Bad service. Waited 2 hours, no meat was served. Only vegetables in the combo was served. Can’t get any broth before the pot dried out. Cuz no server were there for the entire time. We decided to leave since it was late almost 9pm. Only the front desk has a good attitude. Manager came out says”you guys can just leave if u want” We drank a cup of iced water and watched our pot went dry. More disappointed things don’t want to recall. Don’t go.

Our server was impatient with no service at all. Our gas ran out and pot almost dried out but the server just walked by without doing anything. Ordered extra meat and dipping sauce but none showed up on our table. Would not recommend to anyone.

They liked my fit, so I'd give them 6 if I could.Pretty cute hotpot spot, food was good, staff was friendly, and greatly priced.

Mediocre food and awful service! We heard a lot of good things about this place, but ended up with a disappointing experience.First thing first, the only good thing (and the reason for a 2 star review instead of one) was the hostess. She’s absolutely wonderful, and accommodated with our changing schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. But the good experience stopped after the beginning. We were seated and left unattended for a while before a server came to us and rushed us into ordering. We ordered two Sukiyaki sets, and waited forever for our food to come, which by the way, was all raw ingredients. It is said on the wall that the servers cannot cook for us due to Covid, which we totally understand. However, we were given zero instructions on how to cook the Sukiyaki. The server left our raw food with us and left. The only cooked food we ordered, the chicken karaage, was soggy and a laughably small portion. For 60 dollars, we got 14 slides of paper thin beef, some Napa cabbage, some carrots, a couple of slices of tofu, a little bit of starch noodles and half the portion of regularly udon worth of noodle noodles, four mushrooms, and TWO leaves of some green vegetables. We were sitting there and saw the table behind us ordered the same set, and got significantly more vegetables than we did. The inconsistency of portion size is super sub par for a restaurant with such high reviews. The awful service didn’t stop at the beginning. For a hot pot restaurant, they didn’t even bother to take care of our pot, and we had to search for the server for 10 minutes to ask for more broth, during which the pot also dried up completely. And we spent another 10 minutes trying to ask for the check. It felt like we were just left there on our own, and nobody cared if we are having an okay experience or not.The food itself is just okay. The beef was super dry after cooked, and the broth was flavorless at the beginning, and way too sweet after we tried to refill but couldn’t get one. We left hungry and unsatisfied by what we had.Overall, super super disappointed. Really hope this experience is just an outlier, but for what we got, it’s just overpriced mediocre food with awful service.

Fantastic shabu shabu!! Came back 2 days later for another meal, loved it so much! Comparable to places in Japan. Prices are reasonable too, and very friendly staff. A must try in Honolulu!

We LOVED IT!!!It's hot pot, so there should be no surprises; however, they have some fantastic base broths they'll bring out for you. The starters, Sake, cocktail, & Asahe were all fantastic. We had Ichrikis recommended to us by one of our guides on our Sea Turtle snorkeling trip & so glad he recommended it!!!We definitely highly recommend Ichiriki & Pink Sails Waikiki (boat tours). Do yourself a favor and support both businesses. It will be money well spent!
