I went to Henry’s Place 3 times during my trip to Waikiki. My favourite flavour was the Pineapple Coconut ice cream! The consistency of their fruit ice cream is a bit more on the “sherbet” side but it’s less icy/more creamy than an actual sherbet. They also use real fruits to make all of their flavours.I love that Henry’s Place is a small, family-run business. I had a great conversation with RL too!*They are cash only.

Nothing fancy here. Only the best honest most delicious handmade ice cream I have ever had. I know about Mangos, I come from a land that has 13 different kinds of Mangoes. This is the most pure tasting ice cream I have ever had in my lifeThe service is warm and welcoming.

Their papaya and homemade sorbet was amazing! We got the pineapple mango sorbet and it was really refreshing on a hot day! It’s a small little shop but the owners were so nice and friendly. On our last day, we walked back again and tried the açai sorbet, that was a tad too sweet but still good!Bring cash for this location!

We had two icecreams. Pistachio and Pineapple Coconut. The flavors are very natural and plentiful, however the texture is terrible. The products are over mixed and have a consistency of sorbet and butter. The cream is over mixed and the buttery grains fill your mouth with a greasy feel.

I really wanted to like my guava ice cream. The consistency was a mixed between a sorbet and ice cream. I actually prefer sorbets so I didn’t mind that it was on the “icy” side of ice creams. But mine just didn’t taste like guava. It was also grainy which I assume was guava but again I didn’t taste it. I would try another flavor to give them a second chance. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and welcoming.

Best pineapple & mango ice cream I’ve ever had! Best taste (fresh fruit taste, sweetness just right) and great texture, even when we were eating while walking, the coldness vs softness is just right, did melt - don’t know how they do it!! Highly recommended!

Delicious ice cream. We love the Ube flavor but the mango was not flavorful enough.

When I arrived, there was a lady talking in a commanding tone to a rather disheveled man. “Next time, just ask.” And with that she sent him off with a free sandwhich and plate of fruit. I do not know if she was the owner (not many ladies named Henry, after all ) but the customer service here is something that America is undeserving of—Henry’s Place is so good at what they do (selling fruit) that they make our healthcare system (none-as it pertains to mental health) look extra bad. And I haven’t even mentioned how good the papaya was.

Tiny storefront selling fresh sliced fruit, ice cream/sorbets and a few sandwiches. Cash only. Prices are actually about what you'd pay at the ABC convenience stores, but the quality is better for the fruit. The homemade ice cream is pretty tasty (all fruit flavours) but $6/pop.
