Recommended by my daughter, sorta limited dim sum menu, but amazingly ? ?. Perfect on early Sun morning after quick visit to Makapu'u Lighthouse
Waited for a very long time to order, lady kept ignoring me but did nothing. When I got my food and open it at my car, it was cold like someone ordered it didn't pick it up and then served it to me. Won't be eating here again. Save your money go to another place. Not for take out for sure.
Our favorite and best experience yet. Mama in love is from Canton so to hear her gratitude and see her facial expressions ?. Our family's go to now. Thank you Harbor Village Cuisine for your amazing food and kind service beautiful
After hiking back from the Koko crater trail, we had a dinner in this restaurant. They served great food including Dim Sum . It was delicious and exquisite.
My husband & I wanted to try a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant on our way towards Hawaii Kai. We decided on Harbor Village. The staff were friendly, service & food was great! Peaceful, clean & beautifully decorated. It was a good experience & we will return .
I'm from Sydney and anyone who knows Sydneysiders will know we take Yum Cha (Dim Sum in American) seriously. I eat yum cha at least every week and this is our go-to place. This place is legit cantonese dim sum. Not the overly americanized dim sum you get from other places in Oahu. The Har Gau dumpling skins are thin, and the fillings are juicy. Chicken feet is perfect. Egg tarts (Portuguese tarts) are probably the best on the island.
Excellent food, filled with locals! Loved the dim sum!
We ordered a tray of noodles early for pick up at 11am, we got there at 10:55am. The noodles did not come out until 11:50am. We waited because my wife wanted it for the get together. Why take orders when you can't fulfill it. Say you have too many orders for that time, come earlier or later, There were at least 15 others waiting for pickup, some longer than us.Someone actually came out to see who was still there. We are not doing that again.
Ate dim sum at the Harbor Village restaurant last week based on the positive rating. I wonder if any of the people giving high ratings actually ate there, or perhaps never have had real dim sum. Pros -- free parking. Cons -- the food and the really grumpy guy at the front door. If it's too much hassle to have people dine at your restaurant then stay closed! Dim sum was microwaved -- two of the items were totally microwave-scorched, with a brown sauce poured over after. Don't waste your money on this place.
Clean good food
