Ouah.. REALLY good pho. I haven't tried that many other dishes but they were good too. Service a bit lukewarm though, and ac almost always too strong..

Located on 12th Avenue, near to Via Gelato. Award winning Vietnamese cuisine (2021 and 2020 Star Advertiser Best Vietnamese in Honolulu). Outstanding pho soups dishes, with a great selection of proteins (thinly slices of beef, chicken, tripe) clean, tasty broth.Bun dishes- vermicelli rice noodles with selection of proteins(i highly recommend the barbecue pork and imperial rolls).Full bar: mixed drinks, wine list and beers.

Old stand-by place to eat! Love the food and service?

The best pho restaurant in the world. The broth, noodles, everything is just perfect and so delicious. I would come here every day and eat their delicious pho and food. :)

Would Def recommend. A bit more expensive than most viet places i frequent. Enjoyed everything though, vermicelli was so delicious.

Husband and I stopped here after hiking and building up an appetite. We ordered the summer rolls/goi cuon, the papaya salad, and each had a bowl of bun with grilled pork/thit nuong and imperial rolls as well as lemongrass chicken. Everything was tasty and fresh! Enjoyed our meal and the Vietnamese iced coffee.

A nice quiet clean place where you can enjoy a good selection of a Vietnamese dishes.

first visit - nice family style - papaya salad/ chicken- cabbage salad with own dressing all so good - catfish hot clay salt pepper and chicken curry all so tasty - hit the spot - recommend to enjoy with beer and or wine - will return

I feel duped. This place won many awards and is popular amongst Japanese tourists but my experience was mediocre. How can pho be served with room temperature broth???

I have been going to Hale Vietnam for over 20 years. The food is good, and consistent. Consistent is a word to describe restaurants that have been around for many years, as they have their menus down pat and the dishes will taste the same today, tomorrow and next year.Other restaurants do not have that consistency. For example, I ate at one of my other go to Pho restaurants the other week and it was a miss! The pho broth was very bland, spring rolls were cooked in old oil, Viet iced coffee tasted like burnt espresso. I have been patronizing that restaurant for years and was let down.Hale Vietnam has consistently great food!Covid and vax protocols were followed. Vax card and photo ID were requested upon entry. Once seated, I needed to fill out the Covid tracing form. There was ample distance between tables, and staff were all masked. I felt safe here.
